Rocky Bayou Country Club

As a local (Santa Tosa Beach), I rarely go over the Mid Bay Bridge, but when I do it’s to play Rocky Bayou! Tee boxes are very good, fairways are somewhat firm but play well and the greens currently are superb. The course layout is fun but not demanding save for a few holes. If you’re reading this and would like to try a course that’s not in Destin I can assure Rocky Bayou is worth the price and the trip. You will have a fun round on course that is well taken care of.

I’ve play this course several times over the last two years and it never disappoints me. Hats off to the people that keep the course on awesome condition. I look forward to my next round at Rocky Bayou!

First time playing this course...it was in good shape...wide fairways...hard to get in trouble.. there are a few holes that require precise drives and are very challenging. I will play again...had a good time. Fun course worth the green fee which was reasonable given the course..

This was my first time playing Rocky Bayou CC and it didn’t disappoint. There was a nice range and putting area conveniently located near the first tee. The fairways were excellent surfaces and the ball rolled smoothly on the greens. It was a good value for the area relative to higher priced courses in nearby Destin.

Beautiful course in excellent condition. Greens roll true. Staff and members are welcoming. Don’t miss this course.

Hands down best value for the money. The course is fun, the layout is different than any of the courses I’ve played around the Destin area. Loved the hills and placement of the hazards around the course. It’s a challenge but I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

We were visiting the Destin area and decided to play a round of golf. This course was in very good shape, especially considering all the rain that this area has been getting. The greens had just been aerated and sanded so, they were very difficult to putt on but, that's just part of course management. Would definitely return if we get back to the area.

The condition of the course was outstanding and the layout was superb; false fronts, risk-reward bunkers, sloping greens, and true water hazards for both tee and approach shots. Only down side was very slow play...sometimes three separate parties were all playing the same hole in stage-lengths.

Played with my son who is fairly new to golf. We played our round in about 3hrs 45 mins. Course was in great shape and is very well maintained. It was well worth the 25 min drive from Destin. I would play here again in a heartbeat. Free range balls with round. Snack bar is in a separate building from the pro shop.
