About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

Who designed this?
Ridiculous layout. Traps in front of and behind every green. The clown who designed this course had no idea who the clientele were. Played here twice and never again. On both rounds our foursomes spent a majority of our time hitting into and out of sand traps. Not an enjoyable experience at all. We were not great golfers admittedly but how much time did we need to spend trying to hit flop shots with sand wedges and lob wedges. Come on? Save your money folks. Totally frustrating poorly laid out track.
Will play again.
Staff friendly from bag drop to driving us to our car after our round.
Course in good shape and not too difficult. Perfect for my group.
Didn’t have time to enjoy clubhouse but heard good things from local golfers.
Tee off schedule too tight
We had to wait every single hole; no grass in the fairways. This game should have been finished between 3-3.5 hrs and it took almost 4.5 hrs to do the game.

Muni feel
We paid $30 for 9 which sounds cheap and ok for a warmup. But at $60 for 18 there is so much better in the area.
Ok course for the money, very slow play though
The course was ok, but we had to wait on every hole. No ranger to move slow groups along.
Great Course for all Skill Levels
This is a great course for the price and a great course if you are playing with golfers of different skill levels. There is a great variety of easy and difficult holes to make it fun and challenging for everyone, even first time golfers.
