About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

Water Hazards Galore
Really liked the course, great time finding our way around (some confusion finding Hole #10). With water water everywhere, this course presents a challenge. Excited to return and play better now that I have familiarized myself with the layout.
Good experience
As a new golfer, I found the course well kept and the staff extremely helpful. I will be back and will recommend it.
course was unbelievable
The greens were very competitive. The course was kept well groomed. I played at the course four years ago. What a change these guys did one heck of a job of a job. The course is unbelievable definitely going back price just right.
A Lot of Fun
Was a lot of fun, Our group had a great time. Only bad was the restaurant was closed.
Pleasantly Surprised
Booked the round in the airport on our way down to Florida from New Jersey. Didn't expect much as it was the most inexpensive around and was pleasantly surprised. Golf course was in decent shape and greens were very good. It was a lot of fun and we will be back again. I recommend this course.
Disappointed with GN
The course was rated 4*
Look up the course and it was rated 3.7
The courses condition was horrific:
1) tee boxes were non existent
2) fairways lacked grass. Consisted of dirt, sand, and weeds
3) couldn’t chip around the greens because there wasn’t any grass
4) yardages were way off
5) greens were in poor shape
6) manicured sand traps were non existent
Overall, I wouldn’t play this course again even if was free.
I like the course and I will recommend this course to my friends.
Very good course for the price and for practice could use a little work, but I like it
