Forest Glen Golf & Country Club

Was wondering why all of a sudden I saw so many time-slots for today. Come to learn there was a large ladies group that went out before us. If they would have been forth coming about that, we could have pick another course. 5.5hr rounds are a complete waste of everyone’s time and money, by the end we were completely disheveled and disinterested, our backs tightened up and played like dookie.

Very nice Arthur Hills course. Challenging but not overly punitive. Course was in excellent condition. Greens were moderately quick but pretty true. Would definitely recommend.

Staff are welcoming. The driving range is fun because you hit into a lake. The course is in great shape. We met a family of deer as the back nine is mostly in the wilderness. I would highly recommend this course and it is excellent value for money.

The greeting by the lady at the check in was great. She was very amiable and really made us welcome. The practice facilities were excellent. The starter pre warned us that the greens didn’t hold and to play short. That was the best tip of the day, however if you play short on this grass you don’t get the run off at the front of the green and if you hit the green, as the man said ‘they don’t hold’. A number of the greens were elevated so were impossible to play short and run on and simply were unplayable and in my opinion unfair. Once on the green they run true but will test you with many undulating and tiered greens throughout. Great condition fairways and tees make this the most attractive course we’ve played this week. Whilst I’m unsure if the green thing is seasonal as per in the UK when the summer comes, I feel these are the part of the course that need some work. Thanks to all the friendly staff for a testing but enjoyable day on your lovely course.

First time playing and really enjoyed the layout and overall experience!

My only complaint is that greens were not holding which got a little frustrating. Otherwise great course and I'll definitely be back!

Front 9 is a real golf course. Back 9 is much shorter. Need to play from different tee boxes to make it interesting.

Great conditions none the less

The course was in very nice shape and challenging. Staff was very friendly and our dinner was very good.

After reading some reviews we thought we'd give Forest Glen a try. The first 9 holes were rather disappointing, however, the second 9 were pretty. Slightly shorter but very narrow. The greens are not in great shape, so overall an average rating.

One of the BEST courses in the area!! Course condition and layout is top notch. You cannot hit driver on every hole. Price is well worth it.
