Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Club - Panther/Bobcat Course

The staff was friendly and they had cheap food and snacks. Everything else was terrible. Considering the cost compared to other courses, this is by far over priced (don’t let the pictures or reviews convince you otherwise).

The course was very sandy and the fairways and greens were in terrible shape. Even after all the rain we’ve had, the course looked dry and burnt. There are basically 3, 9 hole courses that are mixed and matched and the directions/maps are a bit confusing.

It was also not relaxing as there is a shooting range next door. The entire 18 we heard nothing but gunshots.

Listen this place is great the girl in the snack bar to the golf shop. Starter is awesome! Only thing and it’s small is their course does not do well with rain. It’s very very wet. But hey it’s Florida... great course for the money!

The course was in terrible condition. The grass was so long that we were losing balls in the middle of the fairways. It looks like the course hasn’t been mowed in weeks.

I have played on rough courses before but this was really bad.

The pro shop told me course was wet understandable with All the rain we have had. But the fairways were in rough condition. The grass was so long on the fairway..

The par three holes were a good test of different clubs in the bag. If the fairways were mown it would make the view from the tee boxes more appealing. Rough was entirely too high, I guess due to recent rain. Overall a decent track for a cheap price.

Pro shop staff was amazing overall!!! Really nice greens the staff does an amazing job keeping it perfect. PLAY HERE ITS ANAZING!!!

It was petty average. on par with pricing. Played well, not too challenging.

Course was dry n hard n som tee did not clearly indicate which fairway when it look like either in the openness.

Nice course. Newer carts pace was a bit slower than other times played here. Tee boxes need some work, greens were nice, and fast.

It was a well laid out course with a fantastic setting and scenery. I even ran into an alligator on hole 11! Super wild and awesome! Greens where fantastic!

Course lays out nicely; pace on the front 9 seems to flow pretty good. Back 9 tends to slow. On all three of my rounds I completed in four hours or less.

It’s a short course designed for geriatrics that is weaved throughout their 55+ community. Its not aesthetically pleasing by any means, in fact it’s pretty boring. The fairways are more wild flowers than grass and the greens are what I can only describe as “FUZZY”. With all that said, this is a very laid back course. One would would even say it’s a perfect course to take out a few of your unskilled golfing buddies and throw a couple or a couple dozen beers back. At the end of the day if you care more about drinking beers with the boys and not so much the golf then go ahead and have yourself a good ol’ time here.
