Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Club - Panther/Bobcat Course

Nice course but the greens need some attention. I know it's your winter months.

We played this course last year and some of the fairways were in pretty rough shape. This year they were much better and the greens and surrounding areas were in very good shape even given the dry conditions this fall/winter in FL. It is apparent that they are working on improving this course and it is worth the money to play.

Pace of play was fine. The greens are extremely bumpy and will not hold the line. Good place just to do a practice round to work on your game fairways are fine.

Staff very friendly, starter very friendly. We were , what appeared to be a slower foursome, he started us on a different 9 so we wouldn’t be held up.

Course in very good condition, for this time of year. Most greens were fast, like carpet !

Fortunately this was just a extra round I fit into my schedule at last minute. This was in rough shape. The green were almost unplayable. Some were. It appeared like they have not been cut in a week and never rolled. You know it bad when you have to clean the grass off your putter after each put. There was not a significant difference between fairways and rough. I guess it would be good if you just wanted to hit some balls at targets and have a few beers.

Filled with weeds and dead grass. The ground is lumpy.

Silver Dollar is a great value course. Excellent staff - friendly and responsive. Range is in good shape and a value. Large bucket $12.50. My wife and I can play 9 holes in less than 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon. By myself mid-week - can play 18 in less than 3 hours. Course is in good shape. A couple of the greens are coming in. Tee boxes and fairways are solid. Greens roll well. Restaurant is a good value and the food excellent. Sandwiches and hotdogs can’t be beat. 27 holes and great value.

Price was right and I’m so glad we booked and played this hidden gem. Staff at clubhouse is Freud my and welcoming, course played great even with a morning scramble going on they were able to accommodate us arriving early for our tea time by playing another one of the 3 courses as our back 9. Course was in good to great shape, some greens are under rebuild and a little “hairy” and some tee boxes need rest, but for the price we got we got a lot of bang for the buck.

Don’t miss the ‘real’ pork tenderloin sammiches and chicken salad sammiches at the clubhouse.

Will be back, this is a hidden gem among many within 40min of Seminole.

There was about three greens that were fairly good. The rest of them were terrible. They need to learn that they can’t fix everything by soaking everything with water. They have a pour drainage system on the entire course and I don’t know what kind of grass they’re using for the greens but the balls bounce all the way across the green never going to play it again

Great price, tough at times, over all, good place to play.

This place was very welcoming for a newer nervous golfer I was put with the nicest couple that made playing a delight. Staff at the pro shop, grounds and restaurant where awesome and offered amazing service and help
