Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Club - Gator/Panther Course

Staff was very friendly and pace of play was good. No one was riding our tail the whole round but course was pretty busy. Greens weren’t in great shape and were inconsistent. Fairways were in nice shape.

Your here for 9 or 18? You have a cart try all three in a day. 27 holes with plenty of challenges along the way. Cold beer great food and a lot of fun. Nice Driving range, pitch/chip area, and putting practice.

This course was very nice. We went out at 7:50 AM on Saturday. We ended up doing the round in 3.5 hours. Even still, we had a regular group doing a scramble right behind us because they were playing from the forward tees, but they were polite and never said anything. Course was quite nice and in very good shape, especially for this price point. It was very open and not terribly challenging, though there were some pieces of water that were a little nasty. You did get quite a bit of noise from the trap shooting next door. The course layout was fairly weird with 3 different 9 hold courses and some of them laid out weird, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out where to go. All in all I would definitely come back.

I played on 12-2-21 and immediately re-booked another round for 12-4-21. Pace was great, never rushed or waited too long for the group ahead. Pro shop attendant AND the starter were very accommodating to our group. Course provides challenging holes and elevated greens with slope. Bunker sand was very playable, unlike a lot of courses lately. I'd recommend this course to anyone looking for a new spot to try. Driving range is nice too!

Not sure how this course is anything more than 2. It's like playing in the middle of a cow pasture. There's no difference between the ruff and fairway. Could be a good course if tons of money put in to maintenance.

I always have a great time here. This was no exception - But for $40 I expect the course to be in at least decent shape. 3/4 of the greens have weeds growing out of them, making putting a nightmare. I hope it's temporary.

The course is as it is usually with exception of the greens. There in terrible condition mostly weeds and bumper than you could imagine. Too bad I have used this course as a favourite for the past few years.

Played in a group of 10. Went off as two threesomes and one foursome. Pro shop staff were great. No starter. We started at 0850. Finished at about 1:00pm. The driving range was closed due to recent geavy rain. Only three holes were cart path only. The fairways were in good shape. The rough was cut so you could find a stray shot. The greens were very fast. The Beverage cart came by at the 14th and 18th hole. I would play this course again any time.

The staff was friendly and they had cheap food and snacks. Everything else was terrible. Considering the cost compared to other courses, this is by far over priced (don’t let the pictures or reviews convince you otherwise).

The course was very sandy and the fairways and greens were in terrible shape. Even after all the rain we’ve had, the course looked dry and burnt. There are basically 3, 9 hole courses that are mixed and matched and the directions/maps are a bit confusing.

It was also not relaxing as there is a shooting range next door. The entire 18 we heard nothing but gunshots.

Listen this place is great the girl in the snack bar to the golf shop. Starter is awesome! Only thing and it’s small is their course does not do well with rain. It’s very very wet. But hey it’s Florida... great course for the money!

The course was in terrible condition. The grass was so long that we were losing balls in the middle of the fairways. It looks like the course hasn’t been mowed in weeks.

I have played on rough courses before but this was really bad.

The pro shop told me course was wet understandable with All the rain we have had. But the fairways were in rough condition. The grass was so long on the fairway..
