About
Located just northwest of Tampa, Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Club sprawls across the lush landscape of the west Florida coast. The club offers three nines: the Gator, the Panther, and the Bobcat. The nines can be played individually for a quick round or in three different 18-hole combinations. The Gator/Panther layout offers a good balance of challenges and player-friendly features. Narrow, tree-lined fairways are complemented by generous landing areas. There are sparkling lakes and ponds that come into play on a few holes and strategically placed bunkers are situated along the greensides. In addition to the three golf courses, Silver Dollar boasts one of the area's most extensive practice facilities, which includes a full driving range, two putting greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sandtrap, and three practice holes.

Tee boxes
Fairway were awesome greens were 50 50 Tee boxes were horindous not one but all of them.
have played there many times in the past. have found the course in really good shape.
Worst golf experience
I came to this course with four friends to play golf, 5 in total. As soon as I arrive the two guys in the pro shop had a belittling attitude as we paid for our tee time. They immediately addressed us by saying “you guys better not be playing 5”, which is understandable, yet we weren’t even able to ask. They were not civil whatsoever and when we mentioned that the course was empty and inquired for reasoning to why we couldn’t, they said nothing and disregarded it. On top of that, the greens are so poorly maintained as there are practically bunkers in my line as I putt. I’m disappointed as I paid 50 dollars to play and will NEVER be going to this pathetic excuse of a course again in my life.
have played there many times. in the off season is the best time, all the snow birds are gone. which means you can play a couple shots on each hole. solid practice.
have played here many times. this time of the year is pretty slow. take advantage of the slow time, and take a shot or 2 over. it makes for a great practice round.

Fun & friendly
I enjoy playing golf at Silver Dollar... friendly staff, good pace, and always a good time!
Terrible
Smelt like horse poop the entire course. Course conditions are terrible. Wouldn’t recommend spending 40 bucks for this atrocious place ever. Clubhouse was very nice and the people working, the course was just terrible to play smothered in horse poop flies trying to eat you up every shot. Greens looked like sand traps just not the course to play in Tampa.
Cow Pasture
If you enjoy bare tee boxes, weed filled greens and fairways that look they have just been plowed to plant the corn, then this cow pasture will meet your expectations!

Course was in fair shape. Greens were slow and inconsistent. Fairways were in pretty good shape. Tee boxes were under repair.
