Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Club - Gator/Panther Course
About
Located just northwest of Tampa, Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Club sprawls across the lush landscape of the west Florida coast. The club offers three nines: the Gator, the Panther, and the Bobcat. The nines can be played individually for a quick round or in three different 18-hole combinations. The Gator/Panther layout offers a good balance of challenges and player-friendly features. Narrow, tree-lined fairways are complemented by generous landing areas. There are sparkling lakes and ponds that come into play on a few holes and strategically placed bunkers are situated along the greensides. In addition to the three golf courses, Silver Dollar boasts one of the area's most extensive practice facilities, which includes a full driving range, two putting greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sandtrap, and three practice holes.

We can then all over the course Photo submitted by Gilbert3585586 on 05/27/2013
have played there many times. great value. would recommend playing.
Good for the vale
Nice staff, well maintained course. Greens could have some room for improvement.
Spend money elsewhere
Slow, sloppy, hard dirt traps not sand, extremely wet even on the greens, every tee box was uneven and torn up. Played alone and took 4 hrs
Had a great time playing there. Not crowded at all so the pace of play was great.
Good course for practice
Greens need some TLC the fairways seemed to be full of ruts or very rough patches of ground. Plus the Gator course was under repair from the recent hurricane Milton. Not too bad for the price I payed for green fees.
Terrible Greens
Fairways fair. Greens like crab grass. Very bumpy. Not good!
Not bad but not great.
I booked through GN so the value was pretty good. But it was wet. Lots of plugged balls in fairways and near 1/3 of the greens. The greens were bumpy -all but 2.
You get what you pay for.
Staff extremely friendly. Course still recovering from the storms. Greens were in pretty nice shape. Tee boxes pretty bad shape, but you putt it on a tee so…. Fairways, some were fine and others a little bare. The coin is what it is, if u find a hot deal and just want to go out and play it’s good for that. If you want really nice course and amenities it’s not for you.
Tee to Green Horrible Conditions
This course should be used for frisbee golf.
The condition is not a golf course .
Horrible dead greens. Saw dust dead tees & fairways. Shut it down. Sprig & Sod the entire course. Seed the greens and grow the course.
Open after 6months
Refund needed due to course closure
When I reached the golf course at the assigned time at 9 16 am I was informed the course was closed and that I would be refunded by GolfNow
I called GolfNow and told them the same
You guys informed me I would be paid after you talked with the silver dollar folks
