Bluewater Bay Resort - Marsh Course

Course is still in rough condition. Greens are half sand, fairways are ok, tee boxes are a little rough.

Course isn't worth paying $10 to play currently. We were one of very few groups out at 11:30am. We were not told that the greens were basically non-existent. They were bare dirt with some sand around the outside. Waste of money. Attached is probably one of the best looking greens of the day. Tee boxes were unmowed and fareways were knarley.

Surprised they actually charge money to putt on these greens. There’s more sand than grass and most of the holes were cut in the sand. Worst golf experience in Florida!

Worst course in the area and it's not close. Greens are trashed and burnt out. Idk why this place is even open, and the fact that it still runs you $60 to play is a joke. Decent layout, but the conditions are awful. Never again.

Course conditions are bad. Greens are all sand covered. Hardly any grass on several fairways. Broken sign post. Trash cans overflowing on some holes. Sprinklers running during the day. Practice putting green all sand and bad grass. No driving range. Horrible drainage on several fairways. Obviously they are just open for members and to overcharge the unknowing players. $55 for this course is robbery.

The Green’s were horrible. I have never seen greens that bad.

GolfNow should be ashamed of listing this course as playable. It is under new management and they are trying to revive it but it is in no condition to be played yet. The tee boxes are dirt and there is more sand on the greens than grass. The manager was extremely nice and explained he wouldn’t pay to play it and that GolfNow should have it noted as under repair. Obviously the description on GolfNow is far from what the course actually looks like. Stay away for now.

the tee boxes were all overgrown. the greens were the worst I've ever played on. they mainly consisted of sand and patches of slow grass. the fairways were somewhat nice. course needs ALOT of maintenance. will not be playing there again nor suggesting any other golfer to either.

Sand EVERYWHERE. Greens, fairways, roughs. My white putter was dyed blue after putting on each green.

I had not played in a year, and this was a good and inexpensive way to get back out on the course. Good layout and open. Fairways were cut, but greens had recently been sanded so were in rough shape.

No driving range. Practice green may as well be the surface of the moon. The greens on the course are every bit as bad. One cart attendant tried to tell me that the greens had recently been aerated and top dressed. They haven’t been. They’re simply terrible. Why he said that is beyond me. 50-65 dollars to play here is ridiculous.

Fairways are not in existence on some holes

New management has made a lot of progress on this once Cadillac course. Staff is helpful and friendly. Fairways are much better than last year. Greens are still very bad but the staff seems to have a good plan to bring them back. A good day of golf at a fair price.

Greens are in horrible condition, mostly dirt or sand. Pace of play was bad, groups starting on the wrong holes and groups playing more than 4 people, bc they were “playing a friendly tournament”. Overall just pour course management

This course is rough, especially the greens. They are beyond seriously playable. The tee boxes aren’t level. And the marshall was consistently doing useless maintenance in front of me all day. It was only $50, so not a bad price to play in this part of Florida, but it also plays like a $50 course in Florida.

Such a shame what has happened here. The course has a nice layout and used to enjoy playing here. However, the conditions are beyond bad. Looks to me like it is going to be bulldozed for development. Has anything changed since I played there on May 14?

Price was reasonable. Course was a different set up than I have played. Greens were in terrible shape, very little grass....mostly sand. It would have been nice to have been alerted as to the green status before we booked. Very friendly staff.
