Bluewater Bay Resort - Marsh Course

This course is atrocious condition. Nearly every green is burnt out and has very little grass on it. Their pictures online, and on Google Images, do not show any of this. I paid $60 for a round and there was no mention that the course was in rough shape. I got to the first green and was immediately shocked at the terrible condition. As I played the first few holes, I saw that it wasn't getting any better. I cannot stress enough....DO NOT PAY TO PLAY HERE!

Greens and tee boxes were pretty bare. Some greens were non existent. Little to no grass. Fairways were nice.

Challenging course just needs some tlc

I guess the winter wasn't nice to the greens. Waste of money till there is a remedy.

Great layout but horrible condition! Some greens literally don’t have a blade of grass! Need to shut down until fixes!

Course is of course trying to revive itself. The cheapest rates in the area.

It was totally playable though and I had a good time.

While I knew this course was not what it once was, nothing could have prepared me for the disaster I encountered today. The greens were simply atrocious. In fact, I would not even call them greens. Fairways were not much better. We actually drove 1-1/2 hours to play this course today, and I was simply embarrassed that I brought my family member. Not sure what the golf course issue is here. The course design and layout is excellent. Beautiful, expensive homes line the fairways and surrounding area. But the course itself is simply an eyesore. I can only imagine how the residents must feel. Don’t waste your time or money.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! Absolutely the worst golf course i have ever played at. Had a tee time booked for 7:30am the club pro did not show up to check us or the other 20 individuals for tee times till 8:30am. Proceeded to charge us $55 after a 10% discount for the member not showing up. This course needs to be shut down and reevaluated on every aspect of the course. I dont know how this course gets any business. I truly feel bad for the individual that come for vacation and play at this course thinking its going to be a good round. Absolutely ridiculous

Driving range had been replaced by a housing development. Seems like the people there are more worried about the subdivision more than the golf course. Greens were completely lost. Snack bar not open. Regular bar not open. Staff said they were going through a transitioning. Still 52 bucks to play this course is unacceptable.. I asked about the putting green being under construction and the staff member said it was the worst one so he was told. Let me just tell you, he's misinformed. Every green was terrible. Most the greens were lost completely around to the outside. This course really needs help. I wish they had a place so you could upload photos.

The staff and players were wonderful, the course was the issue.

Apparently the greens keeper left. The staff appears to be struggling with turf disease. The greens were almost non-existent with a bad odor. Turf is difficult to keep healthy in this climate.

It’s a shame that this course fell in the shape it was 2-3 years ago. Staff very friendly and have worked hard on the course. Fairways in a lot better shape. Greens are absolutely bad. Need a lot of work on those to get the course back right. Staff was honest about greens before playing.

This course is in such bad shape, it’s not worth it at half price. Bare patches everywhere. No grass on most tee boxes or greens.

If I was a member here, I would be demanding my money back!!

We had played Bluewater Bay in the past for many years. They have went from 4 nine hole courses down to 2 over the years. Apparently the course had recently been purchased by the members and is currently going through a transition period with new ownership and grounds crews. Hopefully with this change the course will return to good shape like it used to be.

As far as course conditions go, there are greens with little to no grass, some fairways lack grass in a few areas. But you can tell that grass is trying to grow on some of the greens and fairways, but it has a ways to go. I look forward to seeing what this course looks like over the next year or so. I hope it makes a turn around.

I cannot stress this enough DO NOT PLAY HERE. This course is embarrassingly bad. The greens have no grass at all and what grass is there is extremely tall. The tees and fairways are also bare. The starters are very concerned about what 9 everyone starts on even though there was only 4 groups on the course and they still managed to bottleneck everyone by doing that. There is quite literally not one redeemable thing about this course. Not to mention they have the audacity to still charge 60$ for a tee time.
