About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Great layout
Course was in very good condition. Greens were true and pretty fast.

Unable to do full round
1:08 tee time. Didn't get out until 1:35 due to lack of carts. Sunset is 5:40. Very slow play ahead. Wound up having to skip five different holes, passing slow groups, in order to finish by sunset. Course needs better cart management. Otherwise, a beautiful challenging course.

Good course for the money
Course overall was in good condition.
Greens had many patches so they should improve with time. Fairways were good and traps were poor. Course was wet so played long. Pins were placed away from the repaired areas so that helped. They were still pretty fast at around 10 on the stimp.

Great layout. Course was in excellent shape!!
1st time playing and the layout was challenging but very reasonable for an average golfer. Greens were in very good shape. The pace of play was slow. I went out as a single but quickly joined a 2 some that was behind me. We still waited on every hole. Wasn’t horrible but pace was slow I still highly recommend the course. Well worth the green fee.

Greens not the best
Work is being done on the greens so will take some time to recover. Should be much better when done. The rest of the course was good so overall a good day of golf.

Great course
Course was in very good shape and pro shop staff were great. Played the front nine in about 90 minutes in the mid afternoon. So no issues with pace of play.

Rain
It’s been raining all week and the morning of my round. I call the course to see if it’s open. They don’t answer. I try calling for two hours and can’t get a hold of anyone. I call golf now to cancel my tee time for a refund. They say oh the course is open so we can only the fund you half….
Why would the pro shop not answer me for hours! Haha bad communication from the club and golf now in my opinion
Fast greens, Excellent Fairways, slow pace of play
Greens were fast but rolled true, fairways were in excellent shape but the pace of play was terrible. Had I not been swinging well I would have been done at 13. Pace of play flirted with being 5 hours. As I had time to observe the group in front of me and the group behind me, my suggestion to golfers in general is to play the tees that are most appropriate for your handicap. You don’t have to be macho and hit from the tips if you are scoring over 100. Golf is hard enough. My only feed back to the course would be to push the tee time gaps to 8-9 mins. 6 mins seemed a little tight.

Excellent a must play
This is one of the best courses in the area. For the price you cannot beat it. Everything was in good order., Fairways in great shape, greens really good, a few greens were being worked on. Beautiful scenery. If you're going to play a course in the area play this one
