About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Challenging Course
Everything was very good except the greens were too fast for my style of playing. I'm a senior citizen who's used to playing places like Silverado in Scotland Yard where the greens are thicker, and slower running. I three-putted five times. Sometimes I ended up 10 to 12 ft past the pin - just too fast for me and for you if you're used to playing on slower greens. Hit him straight! Have fun.

Not worth the trip
Very disappointed- pace of play was terrible - played 11 holes in 3hours 45 min . Ask for a refund on 9 holes and only gave us a rain check for 9 holes and only 1 out of 4 of us . Wanted refund , no interest in coming back .
Slow play
Lots of rangers not pusjlhing the pace of play. Almost 3 hours to play the first nine.

Still great
This is about the only course that doesn't seem to be affected by inflation. In fact, I almost didn't book this round be a use of how inexpensive it was. I thought "they must be aerating the greens or have let the course go to crap". When I pulled up I was very happy to see that it was still in great shape, the pro shop staff still super friendly. This is one of the better values in Tampa for sure.

slow play
we totally love this course as it is a great layout and the course i9s in great shape.however the last 2 times we've played there pace of play has been horrible.5 hours to play this course takes out all the enjoyment and the worst part about it is that the field ranger don't do anything about it

Pace of play
Five hour & fifteen minute round! UNACCEPTABLE. Several groups behind us quit. When we arrived at #11 tee which is a par 5 there were three groups playing the hole & out group was the 4th group waiting on the tee box. 7 groups on one hole! We waited almost 40 minutes for our turn to hit! Ranger came by & said there are no gaps ahead. If that was true then he needed to get them moving! I know courses don’t like to push players but the length of rounds is getting ridiculous. I will spend my money elsewhere where I can find at least not more than a four hour round.

Great shape
The course was in great shape, but it is a tough course your shots that have to be played in the right spot or your ball is gone or you have a tree in the way on the next shot

Heritage Isle Golf Course
This course is in fantastic shape! Friendly staff. Greens are absolutely fantastic! would love to play here again very tight course. if you're swing is not where it needs to be you might shoot a hundred from the back tee there's two tee shots that are blind from the back tees long par 3s that make the course very tough. You want a challenge you got it 5 stats I think.

Good course if ???
The course is in good shape especially if you like super fast greens. If you touch the putt a little bit too hard you were 10 ft past the hole. I am not used to playing on greens that super fast.

If one loves very fast greens this is the place for you. It took me awhile to get used to the speed of the greens. Course is fun to play and quite a challenge at times

Enjoyed our round. Pace of play was great. No delays on the T and all holes with 12:20 T time. Course in great shape. Only issues the on course bathroom doors were locked. Key on the golf cart would not unlock them.
