About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Best course for your money in Tampa
Great course layout and well maintained. Bonus. Latin barbecue truck across the street after you’re around!
Greens are not true
Course is in good condition but nobody in our group of 10 could sink a putt. You get on the green in 2 and 4 putt. All downhill.

Heritage Isles
Havent played in awhile as I'm a snowbird. Found the course to be in great condition. Fairways and tee boxes were well maintained. There were a couple of greens that they were working on around the edges but ovetall great shape. For first timers, be warned the greens were a little fast and HUGE.

Great Shape!
Fairways, tee boxes, and almost all greens are in excellent shape! Best course around this time of year. I've booked another round already. Played here 10 times now, always enjoy it.

Nice course
First, the pace of play was great. We (2) were the 3rd group out and we finished in 2 3/4 hours. The course was pretty well maintained. The traps could use some work since a lot of them could double as water hazards. The course layout was good. Enough water to make it interesting. All in all I enjoyed the round.

About the greens
The greens here are a nice putting pace. The only thing I can say is wrong, is that there are numerous greens the have sandy spots on the outside edges.

Course itself ok but many issues
Nice layout got some thinking holes, can’t just bang driver. Lots of dog legs and shorter holes. We played the blue tees. Greens ok but the edges are terrible. They’ve lost many spots on several holes. Clubhouse guy was nice very friendly. Saw something I’ve never seen before….course was backed up play was slow not a big deal happens a lot. The ranger who set us off on one, joined the 4some in front of us on the 3rd hole. A 5-some, with 4 carts, one of them being an employee who obviously just got off work. Like, who is in charge here? He played shots on every hole thru 9, and then they went back to the 1st tee. Absurd.
Heritage Isle review
It has been years since I played here. I should not have stayed away so long. The course is in decent shape. The greens are running fast and true. Although a few greens have some bad places on the edges. But don’t let that stop you from coming out. These areas did not hinder our play. Pro shop staff and starter was very friendly and did their best to get starting times back on track after a long frost delay. We will put this course back into our rotation of places to play.
