About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Terrible service
Over crowded . Backed up course with seniors slow play. Golf shop attendant was unhelpful.
Fast Greens but Painful Pace of Play
Greens are in good shape and really fast. The pace of play however was atrocious! It took us 3 hours to play 9 holes. We quit at the turn as there were 4 groups stacked up waiting at #10 and there were no signs of pace improving.

Heritage isles
Played this course numerous times and todaybeas the worst. Over 5 hours for 18 holes. Ranger tried to move the slow group to no avail. Had twosomes stuck between foursomes. Terrible planning. As busy as the course was, shold have paired up the twosomes together. Couse was in great shape but pace of play not good

Liked the course. Although there is some winter kill, overall... It is in nice shape.

Extremely slow
I had a 3 o'clock tee time by myself, I started at 2 45 breezed thru the first 3 holes then waited constantly it ended up taking just over 4 hours. Everything else was great

Golf
Consistently decent course over the years. Turf, greens and tees in good shape including roughs. Seem to have chronic issues with dead patches peripherally on some greens and have to move ball. Good value, like the employees and always like to see people working on course while I golf.

Nice course
This course is in good shape the greens overall were good (fastest ones I've played this year) a few spots need care but very playable , fairways and tee boxes good well worth playing . Now that I reported the course conditions I do have a complaint there was a 5 sum playing and a two sum behind them (they were all together) we were a 4 sum and waited every hole it took 41/2 hours ) the 2 sum had trouble keeping up with the group ahead , this time of year it's slow enough with out that and even with that I will play there again

Pace of play was very slow. Course range did nothing to speed up play.
During the round of golf, the pace of play was incredibly slow. Spoke with the course ranger and he stated that there was nothing hje could do. The worst of it all was that the course range stopped all play at 6 pm and forced us to leave. We were on the 16 hole and were told that we were done for the day. No where in the golf reservation did it state that play would end at 6 pm regaurdless if you had finished or not. You pay for a round of golf and can not complete it. Should there be a refund of some sort?
Great Place To Play
Played there for the first time and didn't know what to expect. Couse was in great shape and was fair for all player's skill levels. Excellent value for what we paid. Would definitely come back and play the course again.

Ranger
So glad to see they have a ranger, but he needs to understand that a foursome is not supposed to keep pace of a threesome and may have a hole separation at times. Interestingly saw the ranger three times on front side urging our foursome to play faster and only once on the back. Plus the fact that he never said anything to the threesome who really were the cause of a 4-1/2 hour round. Please use some common sense and have your facts right Mr. Ranger.

The Old Homestead
Had not played Heritage Isles in over 3 months and was pleasantly surprised. THe greens were super clean and fast. The fairways were nice and green and ran real well. The roping off 20 to 30 yards furttner away from the greens is absolutey fantastic. The staff as usual was courteous, professional and did everything they could to ensure that we had carts in a timely manner so we would not be behind on our tee time.....
