About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Heritage golf course is in excellent condition & having excellent staff. Pace was slow but not bad.

Best shape I've ever seen it

Slow
Tee time 3pm, did not finish only to 12th hole. Paired up with two guys one single would not and he was slow. But so many people on course seemed over booked

Upsetting
At this time I wouldn’t recommend this course. The last 2 times we missed are tee times due to not enough carts. 1st time 35 min delay. This last time over an hour. People standing around all waiting for carts. The golf manage said the 13 carts in the garage were broke waiting on parts. For over a month now. He said they are coming from China. Well wrong thing to say. Any type of parts from China takes at least 3 months over sea freight. They don’t fly them in. Then they stay on the doc than sent to the warehouse. It’s over 4 months to get parts. You can get parts anywhere in Florida if you want to fix your carts. Everyone waiting said they wouldn’t be back until things change. Totally unacceptable.

Conditions were excellent
Would have rated this experience 5 stars except for the pace of play/ Have played this course many times over the last couple of years. This was the best condition I have seen. Only played the back 9 as when we made the turn the 1st hole had a backup. It took us 2 1/2 hours to play the front and we just didn't want to kill that much time on the back. Fairways, Rough and bunkers were all good and the greens were as quick as I have ever seen them. We will go back, but probably between Mon and Thurs in the hopes that it will be less crowded.

Fun layout
I forgot how much I like playing this course... and for the $$ its the perfect spot... greens are always a test .. you think they are slow but they slide more than u think... def recommend playing here
