About

Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Good value, slick greens

I think the superintendent had a bad night before setting the pins;)

Actuality there was a member tourney in the morning so might have been scramble or better ball pins. Added to the difficulty but good fun!

Well worth the money

Course was in the best shape I've seen in many years. Greens were extremely fast. Bunkers had enough sand in them. Tees were in good shape. Fairways were good.

Good but odd

The starter was great. They had 2 Rangers out there. Really liked that. Course was in very nice shape. Greens were nice & rolled well. Sand around the greens was sugar. In the fairway more like dirt but that was fine. We played the Blue tees at about 6200 yds. The course is pretty tight. The odd thing is that many par 4's were super short at around 300 yds each while the par 3's were back breakers at 200 yds each. I certainly would play this course again but I would play a "hybrid" type course where we would move back a box on some of the par 4's & move up a box on some of the par 3's to even it out more. At $52 on a golf trip this was well worth the money.

Pros- The course is in pretty good shape.

greens are super fast

Teeboxes in good shape

Resturant is great

Staff is friendly

Cons-

Lack of range balls. I have been here countless times and they often run out of range balls quicly

They for some reason always don't have carts avaliable. They make you wait even 30 min after tee time because they give out to many carts

Pace of play is awful. Played 9 on a tuesday and it took 3 hours.

Fast greens, fast fairways. Very hard surfaces

Fairways are too tight making it difficult to hit fairway woods and chip. Rolled into trouble several times. Tough for higher handicap players
