review
Lexington Oaks is always a fun course to play...the fairways are nicely groomed and wide with not a lot of rough.....not too much sand or water hazards either. However, there are a few holes that require accurate tee shots, especially # 18.....overall, our group had a good day and look forward to returning again soon.....
Nice Course to Play
I play many surrounding courses monthly. Lexington Oaks seems to have got through the difficult summer better than other clubs I play. Happy to see the maintenance staff working so hard all the time. Thanks for the new cart paths in some areas of the course.. The golf value for Lexington Oaks is perfect compared to near courses. I paid over $75 to play at near courses,
My opinion is the best golf valve in this area is Lexington Oaks.

Overall good shape
Course is in good shape greenes on the slow side but consistent
Nice course, needs some work.
Overall the layout was interesting. All the greens has lots of loose grass and sand and did not roll consistently. Also many had patches under repair. Bunkers were good and had been maintained. Fairways also in good condition. In a lot of places off the fairways there was dirt or very patchy grass. The starter held off members trying to get out early to allow us to keep our tee time. Overall, Would play again.
Totally Mismanaged
Our tee time was 7:52. We teed off at 8:30. Worse than that we had to wait for the group in front of us every shot. We waited 40 minutes to tee off and when we got to the second hole there were three groups waiting. It didn't get much better after that. The lady in the pro shop was rude. No range balls. Starter was nice but was full of excuses. He blamed the men's group for having extra players and fog. There was no fog! The course was in poor shape. No grass on the fairways and greens were in rough shape. It is a nice layout but horribly maintained. Great place if you want to tee 40 minutes late, play a 5 hour round on a poorly maintained course, be treated rudely and pay $50 to do it. Lexington Oaks should be embarrassed!!!!
The course is in poor condition with the greens uncut and several bare spots and slow.
4 star course
Really a iron players course, narrow fairways guarded lots of water and woods
Decent for the price
Ok round…course in decent shape. Greens a bit on the slow side. Pin placement on some holes were crazy….especially par 3 #12.
Not playable
The greens had been over seeded recently and had not been cut in over a week. This should have been public knowledge and fees should have reflected the unplayable conditions. I will not be going back!
11/21/22 round
Great layout. Some wet spots on the course and some of the greens need help,. Greens have been so so the last 2 times I’ve played here.
Good but a few issues
Overall a decent course but the greens are in need of some work. Some bald spots and some shaggy spots..
A few holes where a string of houses are uncomfortably in play.
Be prepared for the final 2 holes. These are very challenging. Trust me. .
Course in good shape
The course is getting better and better a couple greenes are ok the rest are in real good shape will definitely be back
review
The course was in fine shape from the tee to the green; however, the greens had sand/fertilizer mixture on them....otherwise, the couse was in fine condition.....nice wide fairways, not too much rough or water and sand hazards to contend with....there are a couple of holes that could cause a high handicapper ( such as myself ) some anxiety;....such as the par 3 17th.....Overall, a fun day...looking forward to going back again soon.....
Great experience!
The course was well groomed this overcast Sunday. Great bonus having unlimited range balls included with fee. I wish I got there an hour earlier to get more range time. Huge practice green with mostly flags and a couple of holes. There were two threesomes in front of our foursome. Pace of play was about 4:10, which seemed perfect. We did get a few drops of rain around hole 4. Now it must have rained a lot because sand bunkers were full of water. A few balls lost but overall course was prime. Greens were really fast and challenging. Overall great course, try not to go after 3-4 days of rain. Really clean, great staff, and great amenities for price. Felt like $100 course, but cost way less.
