Besides 2 greenes that have a few spots the course is in great shape by far the best deal in pasco County

The course was fun to play but it was in OK condition. Some of the greens had 5 x 5 inch spots of grass missing throughout the the entire green. The sand traps were hard and some had water in them.

Second Tee time of the day and waited on every tee box for the group in front of us. Even met them at several tee boxes, and they would not let us play through. Why have a Ranger if you don't send them out on a weekend morning?

Several greens were not in good shape, with at least two being a patchwork of holes and grass. Bunkers are also poor and waterlogged, not draining and in some cases filled with mud.

So, let's get the bad out of the way--I gave 1 star for off course amenities because the restaurant is closed Mondays & Tuesday & limited hours on other days. Also, the driving range is mats only, a lousy trend among area courses recently.

As for the good--I've picked on Lexington Oaks enough over the years, even went almost 3 years without playing it even though I live minutes away because the course was not only in very poor shape but they were asking premium prices for a lousy experience. They're still asking a lot for this time of year to play a mid-level course but at least I don't have to leave shaking my head, wondering why I torture myself because the course was so bad. I played a couple of weeks ago & swore I'd never play there again but won't be able to play for a month & didn't feel like driving far so I gave it a shot & along with a good deal from GolfNow, the carrot was dangled & it was enjoyable even at 97⁰+. The tee boxes actually had grass as did the greens though the greens were just crazy slow. I knownits summer & the grass is different but I've played 3 other courses the last 2 weeks at the standard Lexington Oaks price range (& higher) that had much faster greens. No matter, at least they had grass on them. The fairways were in excellent shape. Heck, even the rough was nice. The cart was a little beaten up but it did stop easily when easing off the accelerator & the GPS was accurate.

This course is in the best shape I have seen it. The greens are amazing and the fairways have plenty of grass.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

If you haven't played here, you're missing out!

Lexington Oaks is in fine condition....greens cut close with minimal bare spots...fairways nice and wide and also cut close.... not too much water to contend with from the forward tees.....front office staff very accommodating as they let us tee off prior to our scheduled tee time......always a pleasure to play...looking forward to returning again someday soon.

Course in great shape with all the rain we had this last week the greens were amazing

This course used to have greens that were comparable to upscale golf courses. Fairways aren’t so good either. I just feel like they don’t have the money in the budget to maintain course.

It was Fathers day, so many golfers, pace of play was slow. I think because it was so busy. Still had a great time.

Greens, fairways, and tees are all grassy and green. Lots of water, narrow fairways, and challenging layout. Will definitely play this course again.

I just don't get the excellent reviews. I've avoided this course for a couple of years because it just wasn't worth the money even though its close to my house but after reading recent reviews decided to give it a shot again & once again I was sorry. The greens were punched & top dressed well over a week ago, yet it was still impossible to putt between the ball bouncing like a basketball & the extremely slow greens just stopping the ball on anything but the firmest putts no matter the distance. 1 green even had footprints burned into the turf where someone had walked during or after a chemical application. There were also numerous burned streaks on many fairways which is odd considering the amount of daily rain we've had in this area over the last 4 days though overall the fairways were generally in very good shape. Sand traps were heavy & wet, attesting to the 4+ inches of rain the last 4 days around here but several sand traps had rocks in them, fortunately I was only in 1 trap & it had no rocks. Numerous tee boxes were chewed up & finding a grassy spot to tee up from or a flat area to stand was the exception on most tees. Just moving the tee location daily away from areas that have been torn up & sanding/seeding the chewed up sections would fix this issue & go a long way towards restoring the course to the quality their asking price demands.

There was no one on the course besides my 3-some & the 2-some a hole behind us so taking our time during the heat & humidity on a sunny Florida afternoon resulted in a 3 1/2 hour round which could have been even shorter if we chose to move faster.

The restaurant closed at 4pm, on a Saturday, the day before Father's Day which was pretty odd & they had a sign saying they clossed at 4 Friday, Saturday & Sunday so if you have an afternoon tee time don't expect to sit down for dinner or a drink at the end of your round.
