About
Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Either over booked or the Marshall couldn’t find the problem group and sped them along.

I wish they have same courses on every county in CA
the courses playability are even better than those courses at Palm Spring, and the price is better than my local community courses. The only down side for me is it is too far from where I live (Fullerton), but look at it in other side, I feel I'm in vacation every time I play there, so it's not too bad.

Okay
Course has a couple funky holes. No water station and no cart girl make sure you bring plenty to drink. No real service to speak of. No marshals. Golf carts are by far the most annoying carts I’ve ever been in. They stop dead in areas that you should definitely be able to drive to and then you have to do the reverse of shame at a maxed out 1 mph well past where you entered before you can drive normally again. Happened on probably half the holes. Very frustrating. Overall would only really ever play here again if my other options were very scarce. Too bad. Better options around

Nice Course
The course will challenge you to play well. Deep bunkers, fun layout, nice rough. We were the first tee-time....they do over water a bit, so course was wet in the morning. Worth your time and dime.

Back Nine
The back nine on th he Champions isn't any fun for the average player. Too difficult gimmicky holes... forced carrys..

Great place and pace
Saturday morning round. Pace was great. Course conditions were great. Fairways were plush and green, greens and tee box’s in good shape. No grill or hot food. Only beer and chips.

Will never play this course again. 5 1/2 hours to get through 14 holes. At 1 time 4 groups waiting on a par 3 had to leave, didn't even finish need more marshals
