About
Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Will never play this course again. 5 1/2 hours to get through 14 holes. At 1 time 4 groups waiting on a par 3 had to leave, didn't even finish need more marshals

Fun course very challenging
No signs letting you know what tee you are at but it's on the GPS. .We got turned around a few times because no signs instructing how to get to next hole. But map on GPS worked well. No course marshal had a group of 7 ahead of us so it slowed things up a bit. Took 5 hours to complete 18.
Wouldn't recommend for beginners. Any ball not hit on or close to fairway will be lost due to high bushes and tall grass.
Overall was a fun and challenging course and a great value!

Challenging Course
It’s a fun and challenging course. The fairways are maintained and the rough wasn’t too bad. The greens were being aerated, but still somewhat playable. The bunkers are deep and the dirt is not very soft which makes it frustrating and not very fun when you get stuck in there.
I would like to see the bunkers filled with soft sand to make them more playable.

champions course
Like others have said the rough is grown out. Your ball may be plugged or just buried. Good practice for playing out of the rough. Cart didn’t give any warning sign it was shutting off nor were there markers indicating carts weren’t allowed in certain areas. Had to reverse and back out of several spots. Overall it’s a decent track with some character to the holes, but pales in comparison to its neighbor across the freeway Oak Valley..

Terrible
I made a tee time.. tried calling and cancel but there was nobody to talk to to cancel.. I tried numerous times.. then they charge you anyway I guess I was supposed to play with covid.. what a joke..all they want is your money

First time
Course was in pretty good condition. .very thick grass near greens. On 2 different holes I hit shots right next to the green and couldn't find my ball in the thick grass..that was kind of a bummer..and the pace of play was really slow. All staff was friendly and the layout was good and very playable..I will be back this summer
