About
Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Awesome Course
First time playing the Champions course. Definitely would play it again. Fescue rough was thick and challenging around the greens.

Good Course & Enjoyable Round
I have never played this course and it was worth the journey.
The course was in good condition. Plenty of good practice facilities. Range balls were quite inexpensive.
The pace of play was brilliant, better than anything I’ve experienced and perhaps two years. As a group of four, we easily completed the round in four hours with no waiting at all.
The only negatives:
The tee boxes on each hole had no signs to indicate what number hole. Strange!
One other inconvenience is that the golf carts do not give adequate notice about approaching restricted areas. There was one hole where we had to actually push the cart out of the restricted zone. Silly really.
Other than those couple of negatives above, I highly recommend this course.

Great Course
The course is very nice and would play it again with better weather. I was not to fond of the carts because the breaks were very touchy and they stopped to hard.

SLOW PLAY!!
Management should really do something about slow play. There was a single group that blocked everyone.
The round took an excruciating 5 hours and 45 minutes.
Almost 80% of the time, there were 2 groups on the tee.
We called the proshop but nobody came and did anything.

Beware of LA
This course is plain and simple the best in the IE. Everyone from LA is coming to play here now and it is causing major delays as LA courses normally have at their courses. Hope LA starts to loosen their course restrictions so people can get their tee times back out there and have their normal 5 1/2 hr rounds.

Course poor Communication
When booking this course, there were no restrictions. Upon arriving, were told that cart path only (two elderly players in our group (nearly 80 years) were not able to play much since we were restricted to cart path. The course was also over booked as there were two and three groups on each tee box. We could only complete 12 holes.
They had a tournament group they slid into the mix before multiple foursomes. This large group decided they could all play together on each hole 6 to 9 people.
The course was not in good condition either. The greens seemed to be ok, but no facilities available, including the bathrooms. Everything was locked up so golfers had no access to anything after checking in and paying for round. No marshal on course to help with the slow play either. Not a good experience and will not book this course again.

Terrible
Worst time ever had here usually ok, cart path only when your over booked is just being greedy. As long as they make their money they dont seem to care if golfers finish. I understand they are trying to save course due to upcoming tournament, but the locals and everyday players are what makes them money . Wont be going back any time soon . Oak valley is better

Legends
Tukwet is one favorite courses to golf. Legends is my favorite of the 2 courses. But it was closed so I had to book champions. Still a good course for the price.

Best bang for the buck
Overall the course was great! The greens were fast and tidy and the bunkers were very well kept. It’s not the easiest course which makes it even better and the also the best of all was the fairways

Nice layout
Overall the course is in good condition and the layout is nice. Previously the bunkers were terrible big holes with nothing but hard dirt and rocks, but they added sand and raked the area. I hope they continue with the maintenance as that was my only complaint.

I like this golf course fell like palm springs. only drive one hour from L A to having resort golf. I think they improved last 3 years this place..

Hardly any sand in bunkers. Don't be fooled by the top layer....
