About
Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Course in good condition
I believe there was some qualifying ladies tourney going on. The course seemed prep'ed for matches. The bunkers had been cleaned and sand added. I was blessed by the extra sand with 5/6 sand saves.
Enjoyed the course and wished that the conditions were like that year round.
Had a great day, weather perfect and even though the course was busy. The pace was decent.
Good Course, But NO sand in the Bunkers
Good condition. Greens fast but responsive. Bunkers are my only complaint. If they want to be a world class Golf Course they need to put sand in the bunkers.

Great course, unfortunately had frost delay early
Love these two courses and price is right but day we played hey had a frost delay in the morning and even though we played in the afternoon the back nine was over 3 hours,

Bad Vibes in the clubhouse
Staff in clubhouse and on the phones were... cold or rude. Long hold times and poorly informed staff. Inconsiderate to the customer. Im a generally polite person and they were just well, treated the golfer like a nuisance. It was strange, its like they didnt us there? Maybe theyve had some rude customers lately, it was strange. Clearly the professionals at Tukwet are on top of it, but the expendable staff needs some customer relations training.
Greenskepeers and maintenance staff do great work, they were around the holes during the round, like 8 of them, mildly distracting on their phones at times, but not intrusive.
Marshalls were a bit too eager to do the rounds... pace of play was slow, 5 hour round on a sunday at 10am, they kept rolling up on our teebox, polite, but distracting.
Starter was 5 stars, simply because he was eager to talk golf and did his job well, i dont expect much.
Value was great, will defintiely play again... maybe there was just a bug in the air.

greens are fast and in good condition, fairways are good, love the layout.
Fun course
I like the risk reward options greens are tuff to read and some are faster or slower than others. Seems like every hole broke within a foot of the hole so you gotta fire them in there sometimes but if you miss they role a long way lol but other than that nice course I’d play it again.

Great day of golf
This was my first time playing the course and I loved it! The fairways are tight and there is plenty of junk to cross, but the course played really well.

No communication
College tournament was held without warning and all they had to say was you picked the wrong day to come out....terrible customer service, go to first tee box there were 10 carts ahead of us, and no starter. I left right then and there. Lost my business for sure.

Tee time at 12:15, I arrive an hour early and notice there are college teams everywhere. Without warning they tell me it’s going to be slow out there for the public because of the college team being there. I go up to the first tee box on my scheduled tee time and literally I see 10 carts ahead of me! And with no started out there...why would you book tee times when you know there is a college tournament going on! I left right then and there and went to oak valley at 1:04. They lost my business

This is a beautiful course and fun to play. However there was a high school tournament today, it forced my tee time to delay for 50 minutes, also took me 4 hours 45 minutes just to finish 13 holes .

Didnt get to play. Weather was to cold. So i lost my green, because of Golf Now policy. of no refunds on hot deals.Wont use golf now again. I see no benefit. Its easier to call the course and make a tee time.

The construction killed it!
The course was beautiful, the layout was really tough and challenging but I did enjoy it. All the contraction had so much dirt flying around, and all alternate roads that aren't marked well... I feel that the prices did not meet what was provided. I will not be returning any time soon.

Pace of play absolutely terrible 5hrs into it with 1 hole to play. Bunkers are the worst I have ever played.

Morongo golf champions course
Beautiful day- sunny slight wind
Fairways were good, but the greens were very firm and did not hold well.
Tee boxes were not level, my wife stepped in a depression on the tee box and twisted her ankle. 3rd hole.
The bunkers were unplayable- no sand so could not get under the ball to elevate it over the 6 foot lips.
The lay out is challenging enough without hard greens and gnarly green side rough.
The course needs some TL C.
