About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Excellent course but...
This is an awesome golf course, although the greens had just been aerated and there was no advisory about it. One thing I don't understand is that the beer cart was stationary at the cart path between the pro shop and the practice range. The lady never went around the course so I'm not sure who is managing, or the lack of, that area. Also, if you want to buy something from the bar or kitchen, you must wait until 10:00 am??? We turn around on the 9th hole around 9:40 and we wanted to buy hotdogs but, went out hungry for the rest of the back 9.

Great Course
One of best maintained courses I have played in southwest Flordia. From fairways to greens just perfect. This is a golf course you have to play and is alot of fun.

One of my favorite courses to play in this area. It has a great layout with large greens that can be challenging but fair. The entire course is well maintained and enjoyable to play.

Great Summer golf experience
Fantastic afternoon summer rate, the course is in fantastic condition and the greens are rolling well are were well kept.
Only downside of the whole day was the bugs, the gnats were out in force.
Army of Alligators in the water, keep your ball on the fairway.
