About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Nice Track in good shape
Took the time to venture to Panther Run, an Ave Maria course east of Naples. Course is in fine shape. Practice area is very nice and huge. The course played a little longer due to some wind by fairways were wide and generous.
I would recommend this to players of all skill levels. Be on the lookout for wildlife it is sitting on the sunny side of every lake/pond.

Senior play
We play the senior tees so that helped us to finish before too many mosquitos started to bite on #18.
Perfect weather and great greens gave us a 10 under par for a 12 man scramble.

Nice Course
Like everywhere else prices have risen & are high. Strange driving range rules, which I don’t believe that I’ve ever seen before. Range is split between member & guest sides. Guest side has no balls & they provide in your cart only about 10-12 balls, not a sufficient warmup. Other than encumbering members, which I can’t imagine given the adequate space are they worried about hitting too many balls. This seemed chintzy, however, all else was good.
Got out timely, pace of play excellent (4 hour round). Layout was expansive, conditions very good. Don’t recall water coming into play much other than on 18 as water surrounds the property.
Other than my beef about the range setup all was very good.

Great course.. Slow play.
Course has been in great condition both time we have played the only downside is pace of play. Both times we have played the front in 2 hrs or just under 2 hrs. The back has taken 2.5 hrs both times . Nott sure of reason but after the turn we wait on every shot tee to green. The slow play of back nine really takes away from what a great course Panther Run is.
