About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Fun challenging
Layout of this course is challenging and tests every club in your bag. Amenities and staff were great. Highly recommend this when visiting south west Florida

Great course
Wish Panther Run was a little closer to Naples - however it’s still well worth the drive.
Great course conditions- great layout and the nicest Cart Girl ever (Tiffany).

Amazing golf course
First time I play in this gorgeous course. Course conditions are excellent, from tee box to the greens. Staff is very friendly. The only complaint is that there was a group of 5 foursomes playing a mini tournament and the pace was very slow, not sure why they didn't tell us, starting on the 10th whole would have been the best solution. Otherwise an excellent place to play and have a round of beverages after at the bar.

Great experience
Course was in nearly perfect condition. Greens were perfect aside from a few blemishes here and there, no signs of aeration recently, and played pretty quick. Pace of play on a Saturday at 11:30 was just fine. Fun playable layout with each hole having its own name. Highly recommend.

Had a lot of fun and it was one of the better courses I played while in vacation in Naples.
A great day to play
Played 9 holes with some local players and never waited at anytime. Weather was hot but clouds made it bearable. Course was is great shape but greens a little slow (looked like they were aerated several weeks ago) but still true lines. Back 9 was solo and pace of play was still great.
Only negative was saw beverage girl twice on front 9 and not once on back and it was 92 degrees. Thankfully fully stocked water station on 15.

Nice course
Mostly a great course to play. Layout is challenging but not overly punishing. As with most FL courses, it's fairly open so windy is a big factor. Lots of water comes into play so you can't be too wild. Nice club house and staff is friendly. Starter was nice enough to send us out early but we did have to wait quite a bit, especially on the back 9 as many groups seem to have stopped at the turn to get food etc.
My only complain is when they say "range balls included", it's a tiny bag of 15 floater balls, and you would have to pay to get more. Granted that it's pretty tiring warming up in the heat and there are balls at chipping & pitching area. it may be plenty for some, but I typically need a little more than that. The National on the same property less than 5 min away provides balls at the range and you can hit till you drop. Of course the National is earlier in its development stage so that could change in the future.

Unfriendly Staff, HORRIBLE Condition. Won’t be Back
This course was grossly overpriced for the condition. We paid, warmed up, and were about ready to tee off before we found out that the greens had been punched within the last couple of days. They were completely unputtable, and no one bothered to tell us. They just took our money. The only positive I can say is they didn’t give us trouble when we asked for our money back. We left and played elsewhere, will not be coming back to Panther Run.
