About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Panther Run - beautiful course
Beautiful course, well maintained, lots of tee options and excellent pace. Paired with a club member who suggested playing shorter tees. These factors combined led to a more enjoyable day given I only played the course once before. Looking at the layout I would have struggled with longer tees given the location of water and traps.
I would recommend the course if you are in Naples while the course is accessible to the public.

Great day
The course was in great shape, however the greens were a little slow, as I guess they are getting them ready for a busy winter season. All in all it was a very enjoyable day, and we played in under four hours.

Panther Run
Vacation trip playing several courses while in the area. Panther Run was by far in the best condition of any of the courses we played and the price was good. Overall a beautiful course that was fun to play. Fiarways were very generous and greens rolled while, not too slick and held well on approaches. Due to wide fairways and easily approached greens the course played reasonly easy, too easy we thought for the groups ahead of us to be as slow as they were. We much prefer 4 hour rounds so perhaps we are a bit spoiled on this count as this round was almost 5 hours and on a Monday. Despite that I highly recommend this course.

Beautiful course
Class course from the moment u get there.. people were great…. Facilities awesome …. Greens were consistent.. pace was acceptable and the price for the area was great!! Stayed on Marco Island and it’s an hour drive but so worth it !!

Beautiful course
I hadn’t played here in a few years, but it was as nice as I remembered. The pace was good, the tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape. There is a lot of water and wildlife on the course. It is a bit of a drive, but it’s worth it.. The only slight criticism is the greens were slow. When I played. I will definitely return.

Greens are slow
I have played here in the past and the course was a much better shape.
We got paired with two other people and the discussion all round was how slow the greens were.
If they speed the greens up the course would be so much better

The course was in great shape, however the greens could have been a little quicker. This may have been because the course is being readied for the heavy playing season upcoming.

Fun but for a low handicap the greens need to be faster.
I love this golf course but the greens are just too slow. It is such a cool layout. Everything is in great shape but they just need to get the greens rolling. They probably around an 8 on the stimp. If they had greens at 10 or 11. This would be my favorite in the Naples area.
