About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Beautiful course
I hadn’t played here in a few years, but it was as nice as I remembered. The pace was good, the tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape. There is a lot of water and wildlife on the course. It is a bit of a drive, but it’s worth it.. The only slight criticism is the greens were slow. When I played. I will definitely return.

Greens are slow
I have played here in the past and the course was a much better shape.
We got paired with two other people and the discussion all round was how slow the greens were.
If they speed the greens up the course would be so much better

The course was in great shape, however the greens could have been a little quicker. This may have been because the course is being readied for the heavy playing season upcoming.

Fun but for a low handicap the greens need to be faster.
I love this golf course but the greens are just too slow. It is such a cool layout. Everything is in great shape but they just need to get the greens rolling. They probably around an 8 on the stimp. If they had greens at 10 or 11. This would be my favorite in the Naples area.

Good but every Florida golf course
I have been wanting to check this course out for a while. From the photos online, I expected to play an island hole, but there was none. The fairways were very wide and the greens slow.
The price was fair for the condition of the course.
