Needs help
Course conditions were terrible. Grass was so high we lost numerous balls. Cart paths are super bumpy and missing pavement. Disappointed in condition.
Needs work
Understand that the course is trying to improve, but the front 9 needs attention. Grass was horribly high, lost several balls. Fairways need weeded. Disappointed.
Had to play the front 9 twice
This is a nice course that me and my brother played for only 25$ each. We had to play the front 9 two times because the back nine is under renovation. The greens are nice and pretty fast. The course seems to be well-maintained. They have nice fast electric carts. They also give you free range balls. I cannot wait for the back nine to open up by Labor Day hopefully. $25 is a very good deal to play this course. the $50 they normally charge for early morning is too high. In my opinion I will play again if I can get another good deal through GolfNow.
Disappointed but hopeful
I liked the fact that practice balls were included in the round but was told upon arrival that only 9 holes was open. Nothing was said on GolfNow. The part of the course I was able to play was a nice layout but was showing signs of neglect. There was a broken sprinkler in the middle of hole 8 just spraying water randomly. Hopefully when the other nine is finished, they will do some work on this nine as well.
Note: if a course is not fully open, there should be a notation on the GolfNow website. Really unacceptable.
Getting Better on the Front Nine
Still only 9 holes open, back 9 closed. The front is getting better as rain has helped green up the fairways. Greens are mostly good, a few had bad patches. Pace of play was excellent, 3.5 hrs for 18 holes.
Disappointed but hopeful
Unfortunately when we arrived, we were told that we could only play the front nine twice to complete 18 holes. The course was not in good condition and appeared neglected. I have wanted to play this course for a while and was just disappointed at not being told ahead of time through GolfNow that only 9 holes was open. One really positive aspect is that range balls are included in your round. It was definitely nice to be able to warm up on the range for no extra money prior to playing. Hopefully when they finish rehabbing the other nine the whole course will be brought back to its original form.
Missing something
only the front 9 were open. Was not informed until after we had checked in and were walking to the golf cart. Bar staff were awesome and very attentive. Was upset at spending the amount spent to only play the front 9 twice, but we were the only people on the course so we enjoyed the privacy! Other than that, the front 9 were great and a good variation for my skill level.
In progress
Played it a few times. Nice layout with decent fairways. Back nine closed till September I think so you have to play 9 twice eight now. Didn't know that the last time I played. A little annoyed. They have a nice range too. But it was closed too. So play this course but I'd recommend waiting till they open up the back nine.
Aerated greens and fairways
When booking there was no mention of course being repaired or that 5 of the 6 sets of nine holes were closed. Had to play cypress twice. Cart paths are terrible. Greens were aerated and balls could not roll. When putting the ball jumped up, down, right, and left. Unplayable. Course is clearly taking corrective action to fix this course and in time may be nice again. Layout is good and pace of play was fast due to the fact we were only group playing it. Purses should always disclose when aerating takes place so golfers can decide for themselves if they want to endure difficulties associated with this process.
Needs a lot of work
Like the course layout …back 9 closed due to repairs
Played front twice …did not know airfares …
At this time I would not play again ….hope it gets better was told a new owner has taken over ….
Disaster
The owners should be ashamed of themselves charging $30 bucks! Back nine was closed, grass around the greens needed to be cut, most greens were a mess, had to look for a flat spot to stand on at the tee boxes to drive the ball, fairways were rutted and filled with weeds and sprinklers that were running nonstop turning the 9th green into a lake. When we told the man in the pro shop about the sprinkler he said it was running for two days. The only positives about this course was the golf carts and the man at the pro shop who gave us cards for a round for $20 bucks, but with the conditions there not worth using. I’ve never seen a golf course empty on a weekend but this one was and now I know why.
The course was reasonably priced for the area
I was not aware that only 9 holes were available because they were working on the back 9. However they did give me a round for $20 after 12.
Terrible place to play
Should’ve been warned that greens were atrocious!!
There were no amenities. Staff was friendly, but it did not make up for conditions of the course, also the shear absence of anything worth mentioning or returning for.
Shame on Golf Now and the course for charging me, (an unsuspecting player) the price I was charged. Golf Now needs to review these horrible courses before putting a $60 price tag on these type of rip you off courses. I am not impressed with the course, but mostly ashamed of Golf Now!!
