Sugarmill Woods Country Club - Oak Course

I have to say that the staff at this golf course are very friendly and helpful.

The course is a little bit rough. Some of the greens are in bad shape and the fairways could use a little bit of upkeep.

Overall I would play it again.

Play this course periodically and must say that we haven’t noticed much improvement. Greens with a few exceptions are terrible and fairways sparse.

Tee boxes are tolerable. Cart Path is pathetic. Fairway turf is very thin. Greens a HORRIFIC with sand and black powder everywhere. Honestly you couldn't pay me to play here again. Staff was very nice but course conditions ruined the round. Course need an enormous amount of work and cash infusion. Good layout but needs repair and TLC

The back nine is horrible and should not even be open. The greens are terrible and unputtable.

This was the first, and last time I'd play this course. The driving range was included ,and it was the highlight of the day. The front 9 was better than the back. The fairways on the front had some grass, as did the greens. Lots of bare spots on the greens. The back 9 was terrible. We quickly realized why we were the only ones on the back 9. The fairways were worse and the greens were not puttable with large bare spots and places where they had just put down sand.

Weather was great

This course is in terrible shape. Would not recommend playing here.

Played in January 2024,, and compared to January 2023 the course has been neglected. Greens were mostly bare, rolled sand, fairways little or no grass,Pace of play was slow. Carts use was limited to rough ( if you could tell the difference). We used a GROUP golfer certificate ! Pitty the poor soul who paid the rack rate!

Greens were poor. Staff was wonderful. Lay outif course is great but needs maintenance
