Reunion Resort - Palmer Course

Challenging course, beautiful scenery, and great conditions! Beverage service stopped early on a hot day. States Golf Perks offer when booking but all you get is range balls and they charge you a $5 misc fee. Plenty of other courses in the area that are as nice at a better value. Suggestion for the course management would be to actually have a Perk and not cover the range balls with the $5 fee. Other courses offer 2 for 1 drinks, free lunch, discounted soft goods, etc. Starter was not overly friendly or helpful in general. GPS told me to head to Hole 1 about 30min earlier than my tee time so I asked the starter and he stated that it is broken and not to go buy that. Soon after the golfer I was paired with drove up and stated we could tee off now?. The starter was definitely more attentive to the member ladies group at the range. Guys in the clubhouse were great, very friendly. As an intermediate golfer I left thinking it was nice but has so much potential to be GREAT. Why settle for GOOD when you can be GREAT? Course was great, BUT the back 9 smelled like sewage! We had to cover our faces w/ towels it was so bad on about 3 holes.

Now this is what I am talking about. Staff was out of this world friendly, from the grounds people, to the pro shop, to the restaurant staff, the starter, literally everyone provided next level service. Greens were great, overall condition great. Course was busy but still got the round in right at 4 hours. It isn't the cheapest course in the area, but you get what you pay for and I would consider this a great value. Will be back for sure.

Resort pace, but we worked it out with another party we were in between. Pace of play was only issue after hole 5, book an early tee time. Thanks for allowing me to play!

Nice course, I belonged to a Palmer course for years in Chicago, that was in better shape. I thought for summer in central Florida for $95 was a bit much....particularly midday with no one else there.

Still a nice experience, but there are better values in the area.

Great Bunkers, Tee Boxes and Greens. GPS in carts. 4/5 stars only because some weedy areas and the range was trash. Balls needed replacing years ago. Grass on range was poor. A bit surprising of range condition when all other practice facilities were top notch.

This is a fun track to play and it always in good shape. Only peripheral areas of the course were in any real need of maintenance. Fairways and tee boxes were good, greens were excellent - well maintained and rolling well.

We had a pace of play gripe, due to being stuck behind a 3-ball that were "playing golf for the first time". Upside - they stopped after 9! Even with them departing after 9 holes, this led to a 5 hour round. We addressed this with a ranger at hole 3, no real help in moving the group along or playing through - the only real blemish on an otherwise good day. All the courses at Reunion are fantastic and easily on any players "must play" list for Orlando.

Overall experience was very good with the exception of some resort slow play but I got hooked up with two gentlemen that made the round a lot of fun.

Great course and staff but one of the slowest rounds of golf I have ever played in 35 years. That needs to be addressed .

Would definitely play it again next year. Was a little surprised Hole #1 had such a tough 2nd (par 4), after a good drive. Arnie’s openers are usually a bit easier—-tip: play 5 yards short of green! Look forward to it next year!
