Still fighting some bare spots and wet/mud areas.Seem to keep trying to make improvements.

The course has improved dramatically in the three years since we last played it. The fairways have been over seeded with rye grass, making the fairways very playable. The greens were also in decent condition. Hole number 7 has some water issues but that is understandable with the amount of rain Florida has received this year. Proshozp was also friendly. Could use a Marshall and/or starter. Overall an enjoyable able experience and will play it again

The greens were very good compared to most of the courses that I have played recently in the Orlando area. The fairways and tee areas were very good. The staff was very friendly.

If you saw this course this summer and fall, you would have thought that it would never recover.

This course is in great shape. Greens are plush and run pure. Fairways have grass and are truly defined. The rough is definitely not fairway but it is not sand and nasty. It’s fair.

As always, the staff is very friendly, courteous, respectful, and helpful.

If you don’t believe in miracles, go see this course and see how they transformed it.

I played here hearing mixed reviews. Everything from horrible to pretty nice. I found that the course played well. The fairways and greens were in great shape. The rough was well-the rough. Lots of work going into the course and it is showing. I will play it again this week.

Oh what a disappointment. My friend and I have read the recent reviews saying how much better the course is right now compared to previous years. It is subpar. The only things that are decent are the tees and a few of the greens. I would say most of the greens are in really rough shape, the fairways are needing some serious work. Today is Sunday morning and as soon as we teed off we noticed there was a FIVE-SOME in front of us. I asked the Starter and he mentioned the fifth player would not play But he did. I called in the Pro-shop when we were in the fifth hole to let them know about this group holding off the pace and they didn’t do Anything about it. We will not be back for a long time.

Nice layout.Most traps are still work in progress.Lots of rain water on certain holes.Greens are slowly coming around.

This is a golf course that is so neglected, could be good but not now. Don't waste your money or time.

As a 6 hcp golfer And a hcp chairman of A USGA golf club, I can tell that their working on the fairways and greens to make them better. The fairways are fine, green with some sand patches but they will put the pin on areas that greens are fine and you can putt with out any inconvenience. You can’t miss the green or fairways because there is no grass, only dirt and weeds. Keep the ball in the fairway and green and you will have a good experience. Great pace of play, we saw the beverage cart 3 times, staff very friendly and working hard to bring this golf course back in full shape. I will come back

TOOK A CHANCE PLAYING THIS COURSE AFTER READING THE REVIEWS GOT A GOOD PRICE THRU GOLF NOW IVE PLAYED HERE QUITE A FEW TIMES ITS CHALLENGING BUT I TOOK ANOTHER TURN FOR THE MONEY THE GREENS AND FAIRWAYS WERE PRETTY GOOD WHICH SURPRISED ME WITH GRASS ON THEM THE HORRIBLE PART WAS THE ROUGH IT LOOKED LIKE IT REALLY LOOKED HORRIBLE MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT GO PLAY IT IT CAN OWNLY GET BETTER

Heard this course wasn’t in great shape. It’s not in bad shape, but probably not what it once was. But value for money is great

We decided to give this place another chance. We played here a few times this summer and it was in really good shape. The greens and fairways were much better. Off the greens and fairways are still in pretty bad shape.

All in all, I will play here again. The setup is really challenging and no matter where you play from you have to choose your first shot wisely. It's not driver every hole that isn't a par 3.

This course is a diamond in the rough. Great layout with plenty of challenges. Just the greens are a little rough, but with more top dressing and over seeding they will be much better. A must play!

RedTail Golf Club was perhaps one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I’ve played in the Orlando area, The layout is beautiful and offers unique challenges in every hole. You definitely have to think before you hit. Water on the majority of holes with bunkers protecting greens and fairways make for fun tee and approach shots. The course condition was the only flaw, as the rough was indeed rough. Several greens had bare areas and they all played rather slow. Pace of play was excellent and the views are beautiful. Great course for $50, I will be back!

Some improvement, fairways appear to have been overseeded at one point-so mostly good.

Most greens were good, thin in some areas, but you could see fertilizer had been applied.

Rough was ROUGH. Mostly sand, dead grass and weeds.

Traps were mostly dirt, but most had been raked.

Significant amount of brush has been cut back from the lakes and border areas-provides a much cleaner looking course.

Course is currently priced right for the condition that it is in.
