The majority of the greens were in good shape and putted true. The fairways have been overseeded and were full and green. The other areas of the course were in need of attention. Chipping around the green was a challenge as there was little grass and quite a few bare spots.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. A big thanks to Caden for helping us change our tee time for an earlier one as we had to be back in Orlando for an appointment Course itself was beautifully laid out with a great risk reward options for all skill levels. Tee boxes in goid condition and greens look like they're coming along very nicely, putts roll well and true mostly. Overall a great day out on a challenging and rewarding course! Keep up the great job guys, we will definitely be back! Also the bar was great after the round with fair prices for food and drinks.

Fairway, tee boxes are in good condition, may not be perfect but it did not have any influence on the play. Great layout, and great value compared to other courses near. Will definitely come back

Amazing how the community would be okay with their holf course becoming a goat pasture.

Its now the worst conditioned course in Central Florida.

As the weather improves so does golf course.Traps are still work in progress and some greens are more damaged than others.

Excellent layout.Fairways overseeded and good.Greens getting better.Some spots on greens being worked on.Letting grass grow so a tad slow.Staff doing good job improving conditions.Good value.

Was once an excellent course and can see it’s improving but still a way to go. The course is worth a visit though. Only problem we had was the fact the foursomes in front of us didn’t let us through so held up on every hole. It didn’t seem to bother them at all and the football that were two holes behind us caught us up around the 13th. Think some people should understand etiquette on a golf course.

Hard to find course, No directions to entrance till you pass it. GPS unreliable, takes you to the community entrance that has No Entry. No GPS on carts that work as advertised. Fairways hard as a rock and no irrigation at the time. Restaurant not open only at selected days. First time players are in for a surprise when making there shot. Unknown territory in the fairway. Many rolling mounds.

One of the best layouts in the area. The recent reviews are correct, the course is definitely on the mend. The course conditions are fine. The greens are slow right now as they continue to get the back to what they once were but they still putt true. The fairways and tees were in good shape. Definitely worth the price and trip up there. For $10 bucks more you can add lunch.

Course conditions are certainly improving, fairways have decent grass, couple of the greens are pretty rough but they are working on them so should be good eventually. Great layout and good deal for the $$ for sure.

Red Tail has been thru some tough times, grass being main topic of negative issues. They had broker water pump for irrigation, poor greens' care, and probably staffing issues. I saw the reviews, below what the course once was, but it looks to be in process for recovery. I love the layout & fun to play, and challenging.......good par3's, good par5's, and good mix of lengths. I played well this day, even made some 1putt saves (although greens are bumpy on the Winter Rye), but I gotta come back just to redeem my score on #18 (my only dbleBogie of the day). Thanx to GN for the Hot Deal .......and I look forward to the comeback at Red Tail (although I don't want the $50-70 rates which accompany great conditions).

Love the course. But conditions were well below expectations. Greens were ROUGH. Cart gps- not working. On course bathrooms- dirty.

I really want this course to survive and get back to what it once was, a great layout & fun course to play. Don't be swayed by prior downgrading reviews, The fairways are good, greens are rolling OK (for winter rye & the fact players don't repair ball marks); probably the worst thing is sand bunkers need worked (of course players don't rake & there are multiple rakes per trap), so we played "jungle rules" & moved outta deep ruts/foot-digs. I had a 10am T, joined up with another single, so pace-of-play was whatever we wanted, with nobody ahead & no players within 3 or 4-holes behind us. We took our time, hit some second shots/putts ......why is it the B-player betters the score? The course itself is fun to play, a fair length for us old guys --#10 is a challenge, and we both DbleBogied #18 (a monster of par 4 if weak like me). My cart was clean & fast, but the GPS didn't work (or maybe I didn't turn it on). Proshop (young) guy was very nice & filled me in on some of the course management --- pump-house was outta commision during summer months when the grasses needed watered, so the overseeding in November has helped mask issues from months ago. Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals, and I'll be back ......not only to check progress of course, but also to better my score on #18 (my only Dble in the round).

The only thing moderately decent about this course was the new golf carts, unfortunately, that was it.
