Love playing this track. Course this time was a little battered from a storm the previous day and many wet areas and traps were hard and unplayable......but then again your not supposed to be in the trap...LOL

If you are looking for a place to challenge your game with poor greens, poor fairways and , poor rough but on a very pretty layout among million dollar homes this is your course. Don’t play unless it’s a hot rate for less than $40 ever.

I used to love coming to Red Tail and playing Golf. I had meetings with customers here as we played a round and then got drinks at the Restaurant. However, I can see the course has been deteriorating the last past year.

Need to really get this course back to the way it was. Most of the greens are in terrible conditions.

If you keep at this pace you’ll be lucky if you can get people to come s play for $25 a round.

If I was a member, I know I’d be really upset with the course.

Have played many times over the years, clubhouse going through renovations so no amenities available round. Have played in better shape. Very few golfers on course so played under 4 hours. Somewhat dry in places but probably due to dormant grass. Greens looked off color in some areas but were very true, smooth and fast.

Great staff....will play again.

Played here before. much nicer the tee boxes were mostly dirt, the greens if you want to call them that were poor mostly brown little grass all need work for a course that requires collared shirts so members dont yell or complain

Awful condition. Hard to find real grass anywhere in the fairways. Greens and tees were not much better. A shame as you can see the course has a great design and some unique features.

Needs to be sold to someone who will manage it properly or they should just bulldoze it.

Do not go to Red Tail. Managment is horrible. The Golf Course is is horrible condition

The Managment blames the owners for no money.

Course is in mediocre condition. Tee boxes look horrible. Bunkers are inconsistent. Greens are meh.

Don’t waste your money. Owners have no money or interest in this place. Needs to be sold ASAP. Images of practice range. Course in similar conditions.

Good layout and condition is often suspect. It has deteriorated. Greens full of tiny weeds - putting is just luck.

Home of pay and play all day. One fee and you can play as many holes as you want…or until your arms fall off! Great staff ,

Greens are in awful condition, crabgrass everywhere. Putting from 4 feet is an adventure, but if you love Plinko, then this is the course for you! At one time this was one of the best courses in central FL, but now, absolutely awful. Would not recommend or even consider playing anytime in the near future!

RedTail is a real fun course to play. The layout is great and forgiving for the average golfer. The course conditions were just ok and the greens could have been better as little growth patches of grass were growing all over every green I like the course and would play here again.

We play this course fairly often. It's one that can be in very good shape today, then just a few weeks later it's a disaster.

The greens are awful again. Every one of them is loaded with crabgrass. You cannot keep a putt on line. They are also hard and fast. Most shots will not settle where you expect they will. This course has such great potential and such a great layout. Won't be back until they address the crabgrass issue.

i’ve played red tail many times. other than the time they overwatered the greens and lost them all, this is the worst i’ve ever seen the conditions. the only bright spot on the day was the staff. they knew how bad it was and went above and beyond to try to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. for now i have to add red tail to the list of courses i will not be playing again.
