Beautiful scenery but you don't have time for that, focus, pay attention.

Other than unexpected water at certain holes (due to remnants of Ian), this was a very enjoyable round.

Greens were fine and the holes I always have trouble with were as difficult as before. I especially enjoyed the wild ducks and 1 gator I saw as I played, Wish the course was closer to me so I could play it more often, Staff was very friendly, I even had a pleasant conversation on the course with one its employees who was playing a leisurely 9 holes.

Hurricane issues. One closed hole. Pet peeve, new carts with area restrictions. i.e. no longer permitted in parking lot. Something I find very annoying. 18th hole tee box for white tees same as green. Should be shorter, more in line with white tees overall. Like the course layout although I don't think I would call it links like.

1st time playing Red Tail. There was some areas still wet from the hurricane including one bunker which had about a foot of water still in it. I enjoyed the course layout as it made you think which club to play. It's definitely not a "grip it and rip it" course. Some of the greens were a little rough in places, possibly the after effects of the hurricane. That said, greens staff appeared to have put fertilizer or some other product on the greens. The bunkers do need work.

All in all I enjoyed golfing at Red Tail and I will return.

We try to play Redtail whenever possible. My playing partners live in Leesburg and I live in Orlando, so it is midway. Excellent layout and pace of play is normally very good

Course is in better shape, good customer service, will be back

On the weekends, this course could definitely use a Marshall. The pace of play was really slow. We left after 14 holes and 4 hrs in at that point.

Overall course was in good shape. Bunkers were washed out with grass growing in them,. Greens had some bad spots and some weeds. Still some standing water from hurricane.

Greens were great but So much water still left on the course left a lot to be desired. 7th hole was completely closed, and many holes, hitting into the rough meant hitting into a swamp. I’d come back but not for a while to let things dry up.

Excellent value, great greens, nice amenities.

Have played the course before and loved it.

Today, one hole closed due to Central Florida flooding from Ian, and can see the damage caused to the course.

All in all still excellent, damage to a couple of greens, but they still had wonderful putting surfaces.

Still worth a look anytime.

Course is a great layout. Very links style, but the greens weren't that undulating for links style. Fairways were broken up for multiple landing areas. Some nice elevation changes. Tons of hazards and bunkers. You really had to think on every shot. Would play again.

Greens are in great shape ! The fairways are good !

The in between areas are lacking a bit of care but overall very playable.

Needed to get out after Ian went through, and noticed many open tee times at Redtail. I found out real quickly why the course was empty .... cart path only (was not advised of this), one hole shut down due to flooding (understandable, but not advised), greens in so-so shape, fortunately never ended up in any traps -- fall of rocks, fairways were a joke in many locations. It's just a shame, used to a wonderful course ..... it's too bad they need to use subtrofuge to get players out there
