RedTail Golf Club

While the winter weather certainly affected the course conditions, it was a fun round. Tight fairways, sometimes target golf, made it challenging. The greens were pretty good for the time of the year. Good value.

Grass is a necessary part of a golf course; redtail has very little grass on greens, fairways or tee boxes! Not sure what is going on at this course! I would wait till may before playing this course!

The course has no management that knows anything about pace of play, ie no starter, no Ranger ! There was a members group that played a 6 players in front of us ! They were also waiting ever shot. The course was in terrible condition. I will never go back to the course, I usually play it 6 or seven times when I’m here for the winter. This course is terrible!

Absolutely great, fun layout, but in a little rougher condition each time I play it. A couple of greens in tough shape, and we had to wait 1/2 hour to tee off, but had a great time. Several hawks "commented" on our play. 5 star course if in a little better shape.

I had a 12:10 tee time. Got off around one. Not a golf cart in sight until then. The two guys I was paired up with bailed because they could not wait because of a prior commitment they did not think they would make in time. They gave us a small bucket of range balls to pass the time. Not happy.

Is a far cry from where it was 3-4 years ago. Fairways need water and grass in spots. Green seem not to have much grass and are bumpy. Is a $25 dollar course.

Red tail is having a professional woman’s golf outing the following week. Tee times a great number single and double groups. 4 groups on #18. Too long of wait.

Staff needs to let golfers know when there is no beverage cart...especially on the weekend! This course makes the turn nowhere near the clubhouse. Bring snacks and extra drinks! On top of no beverages cart, the water refill station at the turn was not in operation.

Overall satisfied for the price paid. No starter so a high school golf team went off in our slot so it went a little slow at the start. Beautiful views and would play again

I enjoy the course layout. Provides variety. Fairways a little sparse. I am guess the recent cold weather had taken its toll. Greens are fine.

This is a great track in FL. The course is in amazing shape and the design is fun.

You need to look for waste areas before you tee off. There are some that are in landing zones that can turn a great shot into a bad one. Making you think and considering a 3W off the tee on the Par 5 is a fun challenge.

Move up one tee. There are plenty of options and the wind can really get you. You can hit a normally 230 yd 3W 270 with it at your back or have to take a 135yd shot into a 100 yd approach.

In the winter the grass turns brown but that's just what it does. It plays great. Greens are in great shape.

Glad we played the course! The only real disappointment was the pace of play. Other than that we enjoyed our day there. Challenging course but enjoyed playing.
