Loved the course layout / course in ok shape but should get better starting to green up. Greens were decent (little slow) but not bad. Beautiful interesting layout — spread out through out the community and borders a horse farm. Very friendly staff — we really enjoyed the round.

The Red Tail charged me the full price rate instead of the TeeOff rate. When I pointed it out to the cashier, she claimed that it was a Tee Off error which was not the case. They subsequently refused to refund the difference.

I have heard from other golfers that they have had a similar experience.

This course has been up and down.

They need to grow grass in the fairways!

Once they do that it will be a very nice course.

The Red Tail course is a gorgeous layout. Very pretty and somewhat hilly. The clubhouse is very impressive, as are the homes surrounding it. Unfortunately, the condition is poor. Many of the tees are barren and the rough is barren to the extent that if you hit it on the fly, your ball will roll into a bad place. The greens, however, are in decent shape.

A few other thoughts. The course is unplayable to my wife because the course designer placed hundreds of moguls in the first 100 yards of each hole. She hits a low tee shot, so the moguls killed each of her drives. Also, they should go to a red/white/blue pin sequence so that a player can determine the location of the pins on the greens.

Course is in good shape. Challenging layout but fun.

Checked in and asked if there was going to be a ranger on the course the girl said we hardly ever have rangers, well, we knew right then we were in trouble, almost 5 hours later we were right. The course was in terrible condition don't want to waste my time explaining all that was bad. I am sure when it was built it was nice but whoever runs it now clearly does not care. This is a $30.00 course and that might be generous.

Have played here many times but first time in 3 years This course is a great layout but has seen better days. First fairway is GUR. Greens in fair shape but overall course needs some TLC!

Course was an average conditions for this time of year. Green are not bad. They rolled fine and there weren’t that many bad spots. Fairways and tee boxes are rough. That is to be expected this time of year. Played with two Canadians and it was a lot of fun. I love the lay out of the course. It’s always a treat to come and play Red Tail. Great hot deal for 40 bucks. The rack rate is 60 now.

Easily accessible off of 429. Easily reachable from Disney. Great layout with some challenging holes; especially , holes 10 and 18. Worth the play.

There was a junior event before us and there were not carts ready to go out. Once out, nice day. Tough course. Great layout. Will play again.

I love this course, I have always made it a point to drive from the Disney area to play here. I love the mix of holes…short, long, tight, open. It has it all. But it is in very rough shape…the first 15 fairways haven’t received enough water, by a long shot, and the last three were a swamp. The greens were firm but pretty bumpy. Need water and to be rolled. The roughs were sparse, large areas of bare dirt. My hope is that someone will take over and restore the course to its former condition.

This course is one of the better courses near Orlando. Some of the holes have layouts that are just straight up unfair. Hole 18 the number one handicap hole has almost a 200 yard carry on your second shot to get on the green. I had a great drive on the hole and had a choice to either lay up or attempt to go for it. I layed up because I knew I couldn't carry that ball that far. When you do that any chance at a par or even to think about a birdie are gone. They really need to fix that hole and a few others that will frustrate golfers and keep them away from going back to this course.

It has been several years since we were in Florida and able to golf at the course. We were disappointed that the course has not been maintained to the conditions it was in our previous years' visits. Some of the fairways seem to be more sand than grass. Some of the greens had been sprayed green to cover up the lack of grass. The drink cart had been broken and didn't get to us until late in the front nine, but only had snacks and drinks. Being it was lunch time we were hoping that she would have some sandwiches, as well. The water and ice machine at the bathroom location was being worked on so we weren't able to add more water to our bottles. After the round we enjoyed having something to eat sitting out on the covered patio. The waitress was very attentive and the food tasty.
