if you play this for the first time you have no idea where or how far run outs are no real markers to show you the direction of the holes or on the score cards

Course has improved significantly over the past year. The greens are back from almost dirt to being green. However, the eight green is beginning to show some issues and course needs to remain vigilant. Course plays tough, particularly the back 9. The course is easily accessible from Disney on the 429 and worth the drive.

Played Red Tail one year ago and the course was in poor shape. Played again 1/19 and sad to say, conditions have not improved.

For the good- the layout of the course is nice and challenging. There are some very picturesque views. The staff was friendly.

For the not so good-

*Tee boxes were is poor shape

*Greens are sparse on several holes.

Fairway need some love.

*Bunker sand is filled with nickel sized rocks. Nothing like firing projectiles when playing out of them.

*Cart has no brakes and the canopy was loose which banged on every little bump.

Overall, the course appears tired and could use some attention. Sad to report that I will not be retuning to Red Tail. There are many other courses in the area that cost the same to play and are in much better shape.

Grass is thin this time of year, but course plays great. Greens are quick. For the money can’t think of many places I would rather play.

With no starter, we started about 15 minutes late behind several groups. There were young teens driving all around in private golf carts throughout the course. There was a group ahead with several small children (ages 5-6) that were running around with tiny clubs hitting off the tees and running crazy on the greens. Two groups sat there watching as the dad totally ignored the backup.

No ranger around to help speed things up so we hit hole 18 in total darkness after starting at 1:20. Greens and fairways are improving but still need help. Will not be playing here again any time soon.

The course has seen better days, alot of mud fairways, greens are like bad carpet. I love the challenge of the course, there were about 4 or 5 holes from tee to green that were in great shape!! Rest had problems, it has potential

Greens bad, Fairways bad, Tee boxes not good. Course is normally in great shape but this time it was in very bad condition. I don't recommend it at this time.

I was hoping for some decent conditions but boy was I wrong. The fairwinds are in bad shape and some of the greens are horrible. I won’t be back for a long while.

Need a partner who has played this course more than once. Fairways are split between valleys and waste areas. Sometimes you have to use less than driver from the tee or you will lose your ball in a valley of waste area I.e. the first tee. I will say if your up for the challenge the fairways and greens are in good shape

since the last time i played the course, it's a shame the quality has gone ? It's a good layout and a shame to see the green and tee boxes in bad shape :-(
