The course has seen better days, alot of mud fairways, greens are like bad carpet. I love the challenge of the course, there were about 4 or 5 holes from tee to green that were in great shape!! Rest had problems, it has potential

Greens bad, Fairways bad, Tee boxes not good. Course is normally in great shape but this time it was in very bad condition. I don't recommend it at this time.

I was hoping for some decent conditions but boy was I wrong. The fairwinds are in bad shape and some of the greens are horrible. I won’t be back for a long while.

Need a partner who has played this course more than once. Fairways are split between valleys and waste areas. Sometimes you have to use less than driver from the tee or you will lose your ball in a valley of waste area I.e. the first tee. I will say if your up for the challenge the fairways and greens are in good shape

since the last time i played the course, it's a shame the quality has gone ? It's a good layout and a shame to see the green and tee boxes in bad shape :-(

After being told in the pro shop the course was in "great condition", our entire group found that not to be the case. We decided to roll the ball in the fairway so we could find grass to hit off of. Many of the greens had scuffed up areas. I like the layout and it is a tough but fair course. But the conditions would prohibit a return visit.

We played RedTail yesterday, 12/31/21. The course has a fantastic layout with several tee boxes to choose from depending on your skill level - choose wisely here. The course is in average shape for this time of year. They didn't over seed so the fairways have tight lies as expected. The fairways and greens are in good shape but the greens are running a little slow due to being top dressed recently - in another week or two they should be great. The range is in good shape also. The staff is very friendly. The pace of play was a bit slow but not too bad for a challenging course. We played in about 4:25. This course is a lot of fun to play, not your typical Florida course. Bring your "A" game for this one!

Course not in good condition. Greens are really sandy. Fairways are thin or bare in spots. I won't be back for a while. Great layout though. Course needs attention. Too many other course close by that's much better.

Course was in great shape. Pace of play was terrific and the staff was super friendly

When we played last week it got really slow at hole 6. The cart girl told us she served a group 3 groups ahead a full bottle of Jameson and they were trashed. They finally had to kick them off the course and they couldn’t even drive home. They really need to have rangers out to monitor this as it turned the round into 5 1/2 hours. We were not happy.

Played 12/30/21 at 7:20am. We have played this course for years over the last 7+ years; this is the worst shape I have ever seen it in. Carts are old and actually came up on 3 carts left at tee boxes and fairways, assuming they died. Pace of play by the local members was awful. We had a 4some in front of us playing multiple balls and refused to let us as a 3some play thru. The greens have been recently sanded and are in awful shape, burnt, holding water, and NO ONE repairs a ball mark out here. Tee boxes = same thing. The course isn’t worth the price. The pro shop staff was rude, just as cart guys. I could go on and on and on, but it’s not worth it. We have slowly seen this course sliding downhill, but figure we haven’t been here in 5 months; let’s give it a go?! Welp there will be no more going for us, especially at the rates they are charging. This course is maybe $25, it’s basically a longer Zellwood Station.

As mentioned in the title, course is in great shape. Sand was just added to the greens but still playable. Give it a week and it’ll be in flawless condition. Pace was a bit slow.

Great track. Course is always in good condition. Very challenging finishing hole. Gets you wanting to come back. Layout provides challenge from any tee blocks. Wide fairways . Ladies friendly course. A must play.
