The worst greens I’ve seen. Thankfully we were rained out after 9 holes. So mad there was no warning about the greens that we didn't want a rain check for 9 holes. They should have refunded 100%. Very disappointed!

Used to love to play this course. The greens are in very poor condition. The turf is struggling in the fairways and the greens. Very sad

I have played this course every winter for the last few years.

Today, however, the greens were awful. In years past the greens have been quite good. Basically brown dirt fertilized green for color and hopefully growth of grass. The course is tough, as it has numerous dog legs, tight crowned fairways, and many unseen dry mounds and cross fairway depressions

The greens were the big let down. 1/2 a golfers shots come on the greens. This course should be 1/2 price as the greens are unplayable I will not return until next year or they hire a new greens keeper

All the greens have been torched! They should be making players aware of this before they pay. If you enjoy the challenge of true greens to putt on , don’t play here, these greens are terrible and probably will be for the next 3-4 months.

I was rather surprised how bad the greens were at RedTail. One of my favorite courses in central Florida, but the greens yesterday made me question returning for a little while until they can get that mess under control.

Love the layout. Challenging but fair. Greens were the worst I've played on all year. Very bumpy and sections of no grass. Not acceptable conditions for a layout this expensive.

The course has over seeded tees and fairways, dormant Bermuda grass everywhere else. No thick rough. The well bunkered greens are matted down and muddy. Very fast, a bit unpredictable, but playable.

Played here two years ago and these were some of the best greens that I've ever played on. I don't know what has happened since then, but the greens are dead. I know that the place is for sale, but you still have to put money into it and keep it up to a certain level. Maybe it's a management issue? Who knows, but I won't be back anytime soon. If you like fast dirt, then book a tee time. Otherwise play somewhere else!

Very disappointed today! The golf course was in terrible shape. I will give them credit the greens rolled very quickly for the condition that they were in but everything in general is not partout redtails normal condition.

Second time we played this course or our trip to Florida. Would play it again it’s one of the best ones we found

Loved the character of this golf course & the different holes twisting around the course. Greens were punched & a little bumpy , but still good.

I’ve been playing RedTail for many years and I’ve always appreciated that the condition of the course has always been consistently great. HOWEVER, the current condition of the course should be embarrassing to the members & the community of RedTail. The tee boxes are awful, mostly dirt, very little grass. The fairways are awful, mostly dirt/mud, very little grass. The greens are awful, mostly dirt/mud, very little grass. See a pattern here! See ya in April or May.

The greens are total crap, Have been playing this course for years and have never seen it so bad. Was told they have nematodes, Dirt, sand and algae, unputtable. They should warm you upfront for the conditions. Will not be going back any time soon. Super disappointed. This is the first negative review I have ever posted. Not enjoyable.
