About
Eagle Dunes Golf Club in Sorrento sprawls across rolling elevation changes that aren't typically found on central Florida courses. The course also claims to have the area's truest putting surfaces. The layout stretches to just over 7,024 yards from the back tees. Long hitters will be pleased about the opportunity to grip it and rip it but ball placement is an important factor. The golf course is punishing even if you're only slightly errant. The vast sand traps seem like you're playing across a desert and the occasional water hazard comes into play as well. The wide, player-friendly fairways help to balance the challenges of the golf course. Since opening in 2003, Eagle Dunes Golf Club has garnered a strong following amongst locals and has earned the distinction of being one of Gold Digest's "Best Places to Play."

Great Day!
Course played great tee to green. Even with a Junior Golf Tourney in front of us got the round in at four hours.

Always playable

My Go To Course
Greens are always manicured and speedy. Fairways are very playable with plenty of roll out. Staff is super accommodating and always friendly. Can always get a great rate at most anytime I choose. I’ll be back soon!

Great Value
Plenty of practice areas to work on your game. Greens always slick. Fairways rough in places due to rainwater run off but in the center very nice. Plenty of roll out with your metals. Staff is great. Very accommodating and customer service oriented. I’ll play here as long as they are open.

Greens in the Weeds
The greens are currently decent and the staff is great. The rest of the course is weeds and unrated bunkers. I would take a beginner golfer there if it where priced at below $20
There are also a couple of par 4’s that are very reachable and a couple 2-shot par 5’s that makes this a slow course.

Sab & Sandy
We were slow in the front 9, but that was because we had some new golfers ahead of us. How can you be mad, they were young kids. We need the kids to keep living the sport. Everyone was patient, the only thing is they were only playing 9. Why not have them start later? We lived the course, kinda gave you NC vibes. Everyone was SO nice. We’ll be back!!!

Sooooooo Slowwwwwwwww
Only managed 9 holes !!! It took 2hours 45 minutes , golfing torture at its best, please try and get a marshal on the course, so sad because this is a great golf course. I will be back in the hope things will have speeded up

Nice hole variety… fairways need some weeding and greens need to be seeded or something

Course was in good shape. Local golfers were pushing us, even though we were playing better than usual.
