About
Eagle Dunes Golf Club in Sorrento sprawls across rolling elevation changes that aren't typically found on central Florida courses. The course also claims to have the area's truest putting surfaces. The layout stretches to just over 7,024 yards from the back tees. Long hitters will be pleased about the opportunity to grip it and rip it but ball placement is an important factor. The golf course is punishing even if you're only slightly errant. The vast sand traps seem like you're playing across a desert and the occasional water hazard comes into play as well. The wide, player-friendly fairways help to balance the challenges of the golf course. Since opening in 2003, Eagle Dunes Golf Club has garnered a strong following amongst locals and has earned the distinction of being one of Gold Digest's "Best Places to Play."

Good Value
Was a great day with friends and although Mother Nature didn’t want to cooperate we still got half our round in and we’re given a rain check for the rest can’t wait to get back and play the backside of the course we lived the layout and the greens were really good will be back soon

Eagle Dunes --Fun Course w/nice Greens
It is so cool to stand on #1 & 10 tees, elevated & all downhill makes you think the drive goes 400yrds. Greens are really nice, hold the good shots & putt fast & true (you do not want downhill/downgrain putts). Pace-of-play seemed slow, but my group was only a 3some, and we didn't do any searchin' for golf balls (don't think anybody lost a ball). This course is soooo wide open, but the elevation changes, the waste bunkers, and undulating greens present challenges not common to Central Fla. It is just a fun course to play, Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals & great rate. I joined a couple of Members, and had a great time with these gentlemen (in their 70's who could shoot their age sometime). I'll be back to redeem my score on the front9, couldn't get off the Bogie Train.

Eagle Dunes
Great layout that is easily accessible off of 429. Links style and plays tough in the wind. Noted so areas around the greens and in the fairways that need so loving care.

Always Fun
Staff is the best here. Course is very difficult and many interesting holes. No hole is really straight on. Elevated greens force you to carry the ball on the green surface. Plenty of elevation changes. Best price in the Lake County area. I’ll be back after the freeze we have coming up.

Eagle Dunes
Course is now easily accessible from most points in Orlando due to the extension of 429. Team needs to stay on top of the course. Some fairways not up to par. Watch out for the washout on # 7 on the right side.

Pace was too slow
Gave up after 9. At least 6 twosomes I could see out on the course in front of me.

nice layout
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The tee boxes were pretty chopped up, the fairways are starting to show some wear and weeds, but the greens were very nice.

What a shame
This used to be the best hidden gem in Central Florida.
It was always in perfect condition and always under 40 bucks. Now its in terrible condition and they want 65 to play it. I am willing to spend a lot to play a great course but this is robbery. I think I need a chiropractor after driving in this horse pasture !! makes me sad !

Love the layout. Was not busy when we went so round was about 3 1/2 hours. Green’s good, fairways a little worn but ok. Will be back

Tough Track
Regardless of your skill level this course is humbling. The many elevated greens force you to carry them and not chase shots. Glad to see hole 2 has got some bush hog attention down the left fairway. Speeds up play. Always fun to play here. The staff is super and you can work on your whole in the practice areas. Will be back soon.
