About
Eagle Dunes Golf Club in Sorrento sprawls across rolling elevation changes that aren't typically found on central Florida courses. The course also claims to have the area's truest putting surfaces. The layout stretches to just over 7,024 yards from the back tees. Long hitters will be pleased about the opportunity to grip it and rip it but ball placement is an important factor. The golf course is punishing even if you're only slightly errant. The vast sand traps seem like you're playing across a desert and the occasional water hazard comes into play as well. The wide, player-friendly fairways help to balance the challenges of the golf course. Since opening in 2003, Eagle Dunes Golf Club has garnered a strong following amongst locals and has earned the distinction of being one of Gold Digest's "Best Places to Play."

Course condition
Greens are great but they need grass on the course and fairways!!
Use to like this course
This course used to be our regular place. The course isn’t being maintained and the staff is getting terrible.
We stopped for a hotdog and there were no buns. No sandwiches. They had gas station burgers for $7.
Won’t be coming back.

This course used to be in better condition than now, definitely not worth the green fees! Dry weed ridden fairways. Greens were not as bad.

Eagle Dunes
Great track. Easily accessible off of 429 from Disney. Plays tough in the wind. Lots of elevation changes. Worth the play.

Nice course
Play this course often. Not particularly over all hard, but some really challenging holes and nice layout. Fairways were dry, greens about the same for this course. Nice to,see a ranger out there, but not sure he was much help. Round took almost 5 hrs this hot windy Friday.

Need Grass
great greens, terrible fairways due to scalping them down. It was like hitting off cement, tight lies every where. Have always enjoyed this course but they really need to get some grass in the fairways.

some holes are vary challenging esp.for senior players.weather was very hot.spent way to much time looking for golf balls IN FAIRWAY.few times there were two holes open ahead of us.

Best greens in the area
Regularly play this track staff are very friendly and easy going the best greens in the area very fast but in great shape still a little work to do in other areas of course but the course never disappoints

Worth every penny!
The greens were fast, they rolled out and were true. The conditions in and around the greens are worth the price of the course. Course is always in great shape! Even better during the season!

Good Layout Average Conditions
Layout was interesting and challenging. Greens in great shape. Fairways in poor conditions and rough was even worse.

Ugly Duckling
By far this is the most uncared-for Golf Course in Central Florida the fairways are atrocious the sand pits if you can call him that or raked with a tractor farm tractor. Greens are the only Plus for this golf course I will not play this course again although we played it years ago and I thought maybe they'd have improved it by the reviews they didn't.

My foursome had a great time at Eagle Dunes. The staff was very friendly, especially the ranger and starter. Great value for the price we paid. Course was in good shape overall.

Cool, breezy day. Course in good condition.
Greens rolled well but were very fast which was a problem on a few holes with poor pin placements. You could not get your ball to stop near the hole. The ball would roll 15 feet off the green. I had one putt roll to the hole, almost stop, then pick up speed and roll off the green and then 20 feet from the green.
