About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Good test of golf
We played this course this week and it seemed to play longer than the 6400 yards due to wind and fairways that were wetter than we thought they should have been unless there was more rain in that area than on our side of the river.
Course set up is good and challenging but fun to play
Very good course
As always is the case with this course, it was in great shape. Greens rolled smooth and somewhat fast. With the good price from Golf Now it's a good course to play and always fun.
Play this course
First, I had the most friendly welcome to any course I've played. The greens were in great condition and the fairways and tees too. Played 18 in just under 3 hours on a Tuesday afternoon. 3 hours!! Would play again ASAP!
Great course!
This was a great play, beautiful condition, suttoe difficulties, and the layout kept the pace of play moving along.
Great course
we played this course on thanksgiving and were basicly by ourselves. The fairways were prime. The greens were also nice. We did play after a lot of rain so it was damp but still great course for the money.

Good layout. Very very wet. No cart girl. Had to skip #10 due to a wedding taking place on the tee box. Overall good value

Great Course
My Girlfriend and I travel within 3 hours of our home to golf different courses... what a gem this course is.. grest layout, great conditions. Even after an inch of rain the night before. The course drained very well. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone looking for a great round of golf.
One if the top 3 courses I have played...
Superb Value, Great Shape
GC at Fleming Island Plantation is always in great shape, every time I've played. Greens are true, fairways are thick and well maintained.
There was a VERY slow group in front of us, and no one out on the course to complain to or tell them to move along. We had to skip a hole to get in front of them. Some marshalling is necessary.
Overall, for the cost, this is a fantastic course with a lot of unique holes and challenging.
Excellent Course
I could not believe how well kept the course was. The staff was great; im from the North East and I'm not used to such wonderful conditions and friendly staff! Great Job!!
Worth to play
Interesting, varying layout and very good conditions. Great pace of play, still without pressure from behind. Fun to play and definitely worth to come again.
great value and conditioned course
Loved the greens. Smooth and quick. Fairways were nearly perfect and sand in bunkers were good. The course is worth more than charged!
