Fleming Island Golf Club

Very nice, fun, and even sometimes challenging course . Plenty of water and sand hazards, but easy to score well if you play it safe.

Course was wet as we had had lots of rain, however it drained quickly.The design made for interestig hole layout.A geat day.

Excellent course design and condition! Started at 1215 and finished just before 4. Although the total yardage from the Blues was about right for my shorter driving game, there were 2 holes with forced carries off the tee on which I hit solid tee shots and didn't quite make it ! Lots of fun!

Fleming Island Plantation offers a challenge for all level of golfers. The layout has water, fairway moguls, long caries over ravines from the tees, and long par threes yet the course is fun to play. The greens are fast and in perfect condition as is the entire course. This was the first time I played Fleming Island Plantation but will definitely put it in my rotation of courses to play.

Played Sunday Morning. Course is in good condition., Greens are relatively fast and roll mostly true. Rough is down. Fairways are in decent shape; lots of undulations and not many flat lies out there unless you know where to hit it off the tee. Nice course at $40'ish for weekend prime time.

First time playing this course and it's in great condition. Fairways are good, greens are receptive and roll true. Will definitely play again

Very nice layout and look forward to playing ut again... While it was nice shape, it was certainly not pristine. If you want pristine. ...Go somewhere else.. great value and very enjoyable for the money!

I live at the beach so it needs to be a really good value (cost vs. course) and this is a great value! Course and greens were in great shape. Play here a couple of times a year just due to distance but it's got to be at or near the top of public courses in NE FL.

Greens and fairways in very good shape for this time of the year. Pace of play was a little slow, but not terrible. I would recipe recommend the course.

From the moment I got there the staff was there to take my clubs out of my trunk. We started 10 minutes early and had a foursome ahead of us, and we got done in 3 1/2 hrs. The fairways are spectacular. The greens are really fast, and the tall grass is a bad place to be. Overall a great course and I recommend it to all levels of golfers.

The course was in fantastic condition. The fairways were tightly mowed, the rough wasn't that "rough" and the greens are pristine and consistent from 1-18.

The course was in great shape. Pace of play was a little slow but the great conditions made up for it. Will be back.

Fleming Island course is in excellent condition - perhaps best I have seen in some time. My only negative was the pace of play; after only 12 holes were played and more than 3-1/2 hrs had elapsed, I quit playing. The golf club should do more to keep the players moving along.

Fleming Island is a nice course and right now the greens are in good condition. They still need to work on the traps but all in all, they course is going in the right direction. We used the afternoon special and paid $25. I think the $34++ is a little high for this course since we can play better courses in the area for less, some including breakfast and lunch.
Your best bet is to use Golf Now to get better rate or play after 2PM

Very nice course for the price. Greens and fairways are in great shape. My only 2 complaints - no drink cart on a very hot day, and the staff treated me like a bit of an unwanted guest. Told another twosome he was going to pair me up with them because I had walked up. Uh, no, I didn't walk up. I had a tee time. Also, while the price for 18 holes was very competitive at $34, paying an extra $7 for a bag of range balls to warm up is a bit steep.

The course is in good condition and would be enjoyable to play if you weren't having to spend the afternoon waiting for your turn to hit. The course was loaded completely at our start and got no better through out the round. The tee times need to be spaced out to accommodate the abilities of the customers playing. There were no marshals watching or trying to help control pace of play. We played at noon on a Wednesday and were very suprised at the crowded conditons. If you don't mind waiting forever at each shot this may not bother you. Good luck!
