About
Situated just outside of Temecula, the Golf Club of California enjoys a scenic landscape provided by the rolling hills north of San Diego. The terrain is ideal for a round of golf, offering verdant acres of countryside blanketed with mature oaks, sycamores, and towering eucalyptus trees and accented with redtop grasses, which border the carefully manicured fairways and greens. Although there is an abundance of trees, the course still has many wide-open areas. The pristine white sand bunkers and colorful wildflowers are a beautiful contrast to the lush green of the course. The layout is not particularly long, but golfers should be prepared for a challenging round of target golf. The course features narrows fairways, plenty of elevation changes, and tricky greens that require an accurate approach. There are also a few meandering creeks that come into play.

Course in decent shape.
The personal in the club house are grumpy and attitude is less than desirable. Forced us to tee off prior to our tee time. Put getting players out over taking frost delay. First 4 holes the fairways were ice. If the pro shop personnel had a better attitude it would make the experience a lot more enjoyable.
The only hole I didn’t like was hole #2. Too narrow of a spot to line up for the green.

Great Course !
Challenging, but mostly fair too. They need to trim up trees fronting #9. Greens rolled true. Fairways okay. Some excellent holes, and very few yawners.
Pro shop staff welcoming. Starter on point. Food service a little lacking with only hot dogs available at turn .
I would definitely play here again, and also recommend to anyone visiting in the area.

Great Layout
Course is tough but fair. Greens are really challenging. All good, will play here every time I come out to Socal. Do not miss playing this course.

First Class Venue
This was the second time my group played this track in the last six weeks. We had an hour++ drive but it was well worth it. The staff, pro shop and clubhouse facilities are all top notch. The course was it excellent condition with beautiful fairways and greens. The tee boxes are good while the bunkers were first class with well maintained pure white sand. Such a fun course to play. We are planning another round after the holidays. This is without a doubt a hidden gem and the best value around.

One of the best courses in Temecula.
Played this course in September. I have played this course many time over the years. The course is always in great shape. Very scenic and the staff there is so friendly and helpful.

Would play here again and again
Course is challenging from the back tees, but fair to make it enjoyable from the forward tees.

In good shape
The course, including greens is in good shape. The course is a great layout, would be difficult to walk due to several really long green to tee distances, carts are also in need of maintenance...the covers for the club washer stations are missing on most, allowing the dirty club washing water to spill out on the passenger side golf bag.. The only downsides right now...cart paths are partially missing and the resulting hardened earth is pretty bumpy...would be an awesome upgrade to have true cart paths all the way around. Secondly, there are no bathrooms at all on the front nine....would be great to have some, the only option is to hurry into the clubhouse at the turn.
