About
Situated just outside of Temecula, the Golf Club of California enjoys a scenic landscape provided by the rolling hills north of San Diego. The terrain is ideal for a round of golf, offering verdant acres of countryside blanketed with mature oaks, sycamores, and towering eucalyptus trees and accented with redtop grasses, which border the carefully manicured fairways and greens. Although there is an abundance of trees, the course still has many wide-open areas. The pristine white sand bunkers and colorful wildflowers are a beautiful contrast to the lush green of the course. The layout is not particularly long, but golfers should be prepared for a challenging round of target golf. The course features narrows fairways, plenty of elevation changes, and tricky greens that require an accurate approach. There are also a few meandering creeks that come into play.

Great Course in Great Shape for this time of year
Overall this is a challenging layout in great shape, especially the greens, for thus time if year when most courses are doing maintenance. The course is very difficult to walk and difficult from all sets of tees so choose wisely.

Greens are good but rest of course needs some love. Fairways are pretty hard and tight

First Class Track
This is a really great course. Feels like you are playing at a private club. The staff was very helpful. And friendly. The greens and bunkers were pristine while the fairways and tee boxes were fairly hard and dry. They are over seeding at the end of the month and it appears they have cut back a little on watering. I can imaging after overseeing in will be a perfect venue. We will be back as it’s a very challenging and fun track.

New home course
The lady in the grill is always making sure my wife has more than enough to get my wife and I through our round seeing as my wife is pregnant the conditions enough draw me back here at the very least but service like that is why us avid golfers love certain facilities.

First time
We had a great time playing this course. First time so it was pretty tough but would play it again. The fairways are hard dirt in aces but overall very nice.

Great course!
The amenities, staff friendliness, course layout, and conditions were all great! Some of the holes are pretty windy and long drives were very risky, but otherwise I had a great time. 2:40pm tee time for $60 and I was able to finish the course at 7pm. Definitely will be coming back!

Average
The golf course was just average. Don't wander into the ruff as there are rattle snakes.
The golf carts are in filthy horrible shape. Even with Covid the golf carts have not been washed in months.

Good course!
Played in an afternoon foursome on a Friday to kickoff a long weekend. Tee time was 2:30. Starter explained they were about 10 minutes behind. No big deal. Course is in good shape. Pace of play was very slow but probably just because people had the same idea we did. I will definitely return.
