The course is very dry, as are all courses in Southern California. A few of the greens were spotty. All that said, the course was in fairly good condition, pace of play was excellent, and the round was very enjoyable.

This course has seen better times, the condition of the practice greens and first hole gives you a clear picture of how the drought has ruined the course. Maybe 6 months from now when its cooler it will recover but playing it on a hot summer august day is not fun. Pins were placed on corners of most greens not sure why. Fairways were hard as rock. Played right behind a womens foursome and took over 5 hours to finish. I will come back during winter and hope for better course conditions.

Bought fees on Golf Now, visiting California from Canada. There is some kill on fairways and greens but it is a very dry area. When you first step onto a green you think this is going to be terrible (with some of the kill spots and funny coloured green spots, however the greens run true and quick. Very good layout, I certainly would love to play here again but our vacation takes us elsewhere.

Course is in good shape. Hit your target or bring extra balls. Great value. Enjoy.

A bit challenging but no one in front or behind us. Course was in Marvelous condition. Friendly staff and restaurant.

Beautiful weather, good conditions on a nice course and always matched up with nice people makes for a very nice day.

Great facility, very good greens, fairways not in good shape, very dry. If they watered more it would be amazing

I was recommended I play this course by some friends and what a nice track this is. This course has a great layout and the tees and greens are in great condition. I was paired with some Members that gave me a few course knowledge pointers, which was very useful on hole #7 with the bunker in the middle of green like Riviera! In fact I am coming back with my wife and another couple to play on the 4th of July!

I book a lot through golf now and have played a number of courses in the Temecula area and it is usually a great value but that is not the case with this course. I called and asked how the greens were before I drove and hour and a half and was told they are in good shape so I went ahead and booked it. After checking in we were told just go to the first tee and we were given a yardage book since there was no GPS. The yardage book barely showed any info past a few numbers into the green and didn’t say anything in regards to how wide fairways were or any valuable info about greens. It told us to favor the left side of a part 4 which we did and come to find out there is a row of bushes that line the left side and since the fairways are so dead and hard, your ball bounces off and into the out of bounds area. The greens were maybe rolling a 6-7 with bare spots all over. I would say 10% of sprinklers were marked so unless you were right in line with a distance on the yardage book, you had zero accurate distance. We left after 9 holes and just decided that eating the cost of the tee time is better than to keep playing. Don’t waste your time playing here when you can find much better courses for the same rate!

A good course to play when you have a full day. Pace was not that great and the fairways are hard but the greens were in great shape...

Played the course with my son on a perfect 85 degree day. Course was kinda dry in some areas but perfect for us because it allowed us to hit down on the ball and trap it. Very nice course layout. Greens were fair. Sand was good. And yes, the people running the course were all very nice. My son and I will surely be back.

If you’re not able to hit it accurate, you’re going to be in for a long day with plenty of lost balls. Accuracy is key. Quite a few elevation changes and blind shots. Good thing they give you a booklet with tips for almost every hole. There’s usually a significant drive from green to tee box. Not really designed for the player that is walking.

Accuracy is required from the tees and on approach shots as some greens are wide but shallow. Course was in solid shape considering we’ve had little rain in Southern California. I’m gonna be sure to play this course again. My first round was a bit of a learning round. Be prepared for an interesting challenging round if it’s your first time!

It was a good value and worth the drive from Mission Valley :)

We enjoy the challenges and the nature landscape of this course. We play 2-3 times per month. Staff are very friendly, golfers are polite , play path are good. Combine the golf with a happy hour at the Z Cafe that make the golf outing enjoyable and memorable.

Above average for current San Diego County course conditions

Was once a private course...club house, pro shop, and locker rooms are excellent!!...course lay out is great, a lot of driving between greens and tees...could use some more directional signs tho
