Four of us booked 10:30am, got there early,

little bit of putting practice, green was turf and slow

but lay out overroll was very much challenging and fun.

me and my friends include friend who was first time, we all enjoyed so much, willing to come back!

just wish they open snack bar on monday.

Played blue tees 6500/132.

Course layout is to me best in north county. I don't ever seem to get bored with the layout since you can score/play each hole different ways depending on how your swinging that particular day.

Fairways good shape and tight.. precise drives rewarded and scoring opportunity improves if you are long and straight. If windy, opt for strategic play versus aggressive on some holes.

Greens a bit slower today than I recall but it appeared to me they were aerated past month. Ball rolled true in most cases.

Pace of play was very good but I had an afternoon tee time so I can't vouch for pace during prime times.

Amenities/staff are great, I've always enjoyed my post round time there.

Definitely put this course on your "must play" list if you are in North County, you won't be disappointed.

I have played many of the courses in the area and I have to say this is now my favorite. The course is in great condition and the greens were really good even though they just aerated them not that long ago. The layout is unique and challenging with elevation changes. The views of the local mountains were unlike any other course around. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant food was delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Golf course with fun and challenging lay-out but

I think that this course is more dry and solid in the fairways than the other courses in this area. Right after the rain season or by the status of this golf club, the fairway and green should be in much better shape and condition with over seeding. Hopefully the managements will work on the course maintenance, so more golfers can enjoy this challenging course.

Course appears to have been recently punched. Pace was slow. But good GolfNow rate.

This is not a simple drive, chip, and putt course. You have to play smart and select the right club. Some fairways are narrow. Some fairways have obstacles across so you have to lay up. Not all the greens are flat and fast. Many have levels, and depending on the pin placement, the hole can present a good challenge. I got lucky with a special rate. Glad I played this course. You will be too.

Compared to courses in the same micro-climate the conditions were very poor. Tees were patchy, greens were of variable speed and bumpiness and the fairways were devoid of grass for the main part. This leads to a lot of run and given the cant on some fairways a lot of frustration. The worst value amongst a lot of local courses on UnderPar.

Overall, nice course with interesting layout. Fairly tight off some tees but certainly playable. Fairways, however, are just too thin and so much so that it's tough to get a fairway wood in the air. Let them grow a bit. It's winter but let them grow out another 1/4-1/2 inch.

enjoyed nice view and layout of the course. had to wait on almost every hole, no staff on the course to control the pace of play. other than that, course was impressive;

It was a very windy day. Love the course and had a lot of fun.

Bring a snickers.

We saw 2 5 somes in front of us which I'm sure accounted for most of the slow play. Of course the 2 little old Asian ladies that took 4 attempts to get out of 2 green side bunkers, then couldn't be bothered to rake them afterwards also made things drag on a bit.

A course marshal who monitered play would be nice.

Overall, a great golf experience!

The layout of the course is very challenging. There are elevation changes, doglegs right and left, water holes and plenty of red staked areas. The 7th Hole, a downhill Par 3 with a Sand Trap in the middle of the green, is a very creative hole, especially when the pin placement is located anywhere past the Sand Trap as it was on this day.

Many of the fairways had very thin lies, probably attributable to the weather and time of year. Most of the greens were in very good shape, the ball rolled true.

The staff in the Pro Shop, Snack Bar and Restaurant/Bar were extremely friendly and helpful.

This course is a must play.
