Got a great price for the quality of the course. 12 noon for under $50. Course was in great shape considering the lack of water in So Cal. Pace of play was a little slow but average for the time of day we played. Greens were in great shape as well .very few ball marks from previous players approach shots. I definitely will return to this challenging course..

This course is just as good Maderas at 1/3 the cost. A must play in sd county.

I want to challenge again.

This club offers the best value in North San Diego County. The fairways are a bit too tight right now, but still play well.
Also, the restaurant offers outstanding sandwiches and salads, so plan a pre-round bite.

All said, it plays like your high end private club. A bit outside, but definitely worth the drive

I loved the layout and every hole was different. The Pro Shop staff was a little cold when we checked in but the starter was friendly and we quickly forgot about the reception once we got out on the course. I look forward to playing here again.

Another course that is in excellent shape. The location of the course is great and includes protected habitat. This was my first time playing here and I really enjoyed the location and the experience. Fairways were great and the greens were fast! There are some challenging holes which requires a good tee shot. Overall, very good course for the money. I will be back!

We had a frost delay, about 1hr, but all went smoothly. The course was in great shape. Greens were a bit fast for my liking, but rolled great. just make the adjustment. Overall the experience was great, but a bit prices for a weekly course and we got a discount through golf now. overall great fun!

I don't usually play courses of this caliber. The slope is 130 from the white tees. The length isn't an issue but you need to be hitting accurate shots as there is plenty of holes where yo need to carry the ball out to the fairway off the tee,over bush, ground cover etc. If you miss the fairway you are OB as it is a restricted area to enter for looking for your ball. Go there and have fun and enjoy the day and you will be glad you did. The green fee was a great proce too!

Well worth the drive. Relaxed people, not treated like you've invaded their private space like other nice semi-private clubs, even while dressed and acting respectful. To bad it's not closer....

It was my first time on this beautiful golf course and I really enjoyed it ! This course is in perfect condition, for a beginner like me a real challenge and worth every penny, which was more than reasonable by the way. I will definitely come back and walk this course again !

our foursome had not played this course before and understood that it had once been fully private. the price was great and this course had a very nice layout. enough water to get your attention and enough length and elevation changes to keep things interesting.

The course is very well maintained and the staff is very friendly.

I have played this course four times this year and have found the grounds to be well maintained, each time. Depending upon rains the lower areas do collect quite a bit of mositure. Greens are challenging and in great shape.

Good value for the money.

Course is challenging for the intermediate golfer but a lot of fun. Amenities at the course are excellent including the drink cart and restaurant staff.

I typically play at Syquan, Bonita, or Eastlake...but when I drive up to north county I play at Golf club of California...i love this course.

Good course, greens were great, as fast as you'd like em before they get too tough.

Was pleasantly surprised at this great semi-private golf club. In any other economy, I imagine it would be fully private. Understand it has turned over several times but the current owners offer a wonderful course for the money. Terrific pro shop, very friendly staff and holes that meander over a very tough track but one you should enjoy. Helps to partner with someone who knows the holes. They even provided a free color yardage book which you probably should use to good advantage. Would surely play this again.

I got a killer deal on GolfNow $37/per with cart for 18 holes. For that price this course is amazing. Very well maintained and a very challenging course. Lots of undulations and slopes. The greens had been punched a week earlier but despite that they were in very good shape. A little sandy on 2 or 3 holes but nothing major. Overall it was a great value for money. Even at $55/per I would be happy.
