Friendly club culture - Simple but Nice Layout - Good Practice Course
A fun course to play while sharpening your game. Straight-forward layout with moderate challenge and some room for errant shots. Nice people and a nice place. Will play again and again.

Nice course but needs attention
The greens are in good shape however the fairways and rough have been neglected with bare dirt spots in fairways and rough is just hard pan dirt very little grass on some holes. You can be in the middle of the fairway and have to hit off of dirt.
Good shape/Fast play
Played alone in about three hours. Cart gave out after the 16th but carrying clubs for two holes (both short) did not keep me from really enjoying this course. Great staff.
This course makes you think
With elevated Tees on the 2nd hole, to the par 3's over water . This course has 45 degree fairways that dog leg left and right . Fun course for everyone. The prices are great, from 20 bucks on up. They always have great deals. The only complaint I have is their Bar and Restaurant , it's small and takes to long to get anything. But other than that I love the course and the staff is great.
Greens keepers have work to do to compare with local competition.
This is a very interesting course to play and the staff was very nice. Cost was low on Golf Now, They need to get the grass growing in bald spots and work n the greens , bunkers etc. Could be great. Still very fun to play.
This course was very enjoyable
We teed off early in the morning and enjoyed a fast pace. The course was in great condition. One of the players in the group enjoyed number 16 - hole in one!

Enjoy playing this course. Challenging but no overly hard. Good chances to score well. The marshall really keeps groups moving along
Best value in the area.
I usually play there at least once a week and early morning. Have always been able to get on and play is fast in the early AM. Greens hold well and putting surfaces are excellent.
Good value
Sunset Whitney is one of our group's favorite courses. It is always cjhallenging. The greens are mostly in good shape, but the fairways are thin in many spots and need more attention. The staff is very friendly.
Coarse is player friendly and well kept
I thought the greens rolled very true and were in great shape. The coarse has holes you can be aggressive on and get rewarded, just keep it in the fairway because you will pay a price being in the rough. The scenery is awesome with turkeys and deer roaming the landscape. I really was impresed with the staff, who are friendly and accomadating. I definately recommend this coarse to players who are looking to have a relaxing and fun time.
Fun to play, longer drives need to know the course as some holes are hidden from view.
the course was fun to play. Longer drives make it a must to know the layout of the hole and fairways. Stay on the fairway and your score will show much better. lots of hazards if you play military golf (left-right)!
Excellent price, tough track
The greens were in great shape and rolled true. Fairways were bare in spots a d some were swampy.
