Nice course
Has challenging and easy holes, fun to play... Greens are nice and not too fast... Great Par 3's
NOT worth the $'s....
This used to be one of my favorite course...NOT ANYMORE! The course was a muddy mess, dead grass in all the wrong places. The greens were unpredictable, hairy, and rough in overall condition. For the cost -- where is the $'s going? -- not worth the effort...
Course in very good condition.
I have played this course several times in the past, pace is usually very good, course is in very good condition, and when using the GolfNow discount prices, it is a very good deal!
Needs Some Work
Played on a 100+ degree day and every water bucket was empty...no marshals...saw cart person twice in 5+ hours...starter pushed groups off without any type of break...was a 3 group back up on the 2nd tee....2-somes....3-somes...5-somes...didnt really matter...group in front of us didnt have golf attire(basketball shorts and tank tops)...one had no shirt...classy!
Liked the higher rough and firmer greens. Made the course a bit more challenging. Greens rolled nice but a little slow.
The course was in great shape with higher than average rough and firmer than average greens compared to other course in the area. The greens rolled true which made for a very enjoyable round. Only complaint is that the flag poles are fat and hollow metal poles and when I hit my approach into number 8 with a sand wedge it hit midway up the pole and bounced back 35'. Who knows, but a different style pole, maybe a 10' putt and a chance at 68 instead of 69. LOL
simply fabulous
Great condition. Value for the money, excellent! I would say this would not disappoint anyone.
Great course!
A little tighter than the Lincoln Hills Orchard course, excellent condition year round. Elevation changes, good sand, moderate to quick greens with slopes and bowls. Overall excellent for the money (played during twilight).
Challenging, yet fair enough for all players.
The most difficult aspect of this course seemed to be the greens. Really tough to get a good read, but still fair for most skill levels. Course was in great shape, very enjoyable round. Staff were very helpful & informative.
Didn't meet expectations...
The Hills course was ok but nothing great that would justify the $59 they normally charge, especially when there are other comparable courses in the area that you can play for about $36. I didn't find the course challenging at all. Huge bunkers are set back so far off the greens, they don't really come into play. I did like the links style layout and the fact that you have to play the whole 18 holes, meaning hole 9 does not end back at the clubhouse. I'll play it again but only if I can get a price around $32 to $36. In my opinion, it isn't worth much more than that.
I much preferred the Orchard course. Better layout and a bit more challenging. I will definitely play the Orchard course more often.
Nice course
This course is in very good condition. They keep ALOT of water on it, but the greens are consistent and in great condition.
Nice course
There are two courses at Lincoln Hills. The Hills and The Orchard. We played The Hills. Overall, course was in good shape tee to green. Bunkers groomed but hard (need more sand in a few) greens were really fast hard to read. Weather great we had a nice Father's Day.
Great value for the money
Course is good for immediate golfers. Good pace of play.easy to follow tee signs
Well maintained but the greens had been sanded recently.
The course tee time was right on time. Good facility with all the required amenities. I didn't play well but that is just me. I enjoyed the course and would go back.
greens are almost all the way back after spring punch
Course is in great shape , but an excruciatingly slow round on a sun afternoon
nice course with great scenery.
i would definitely play this course again if I can get the same value.
good deal
nice layout, fairly forgiving, friendly folks. great practice facility.only saw cart girl once, about died of thirsh.need a snack bar at turn as don't see clubhouse until done..
36 Good Solid Holes
The Lincoln Hills Orchard and Hills courses are good, solid, fair, fun courses. The courses are always well maintained from tee to green, the staff is friendly, and the green fees are a fair value. You are unlikely to be disappointed as these are some of the better courses in the area.
Great course...
Great course, well maintained, greens in good shape after aeration a few weeks ago. New carts, GPS works well. Overall a great place to get i a round of golf or two.
The course is find but it took 5 hours plus to play! Again the biggest problem in "golf pace of play".
One of the biggest problems in golf is pace of play. And I don't believe it is taught to new players. It is ok to be new to the sport and to be a novice; but it is not ok to slow down the course for eve ryone else with a 5 1/2- 6 hour round.
Where have the marshals gone? They should speak the truth in love explaining to novices - It is ok to learn the game on the course ; but part of the learning is that a round should take no longer than 4 hours.
