Great Condition
Chris in the pro shop was great, took care of getting me on the course,it was busy! Felt like I was at a private club!
Thanks again Chris - Mike D.
backed up
Overall the course was in great shape but we waited at least 15-20mins for a cart. They need to somehow notify paying customers online that there's a tournament that day. Tee times were backed up and people were skipping ahead of groups and making it worse for us.
good course and great pace
apparently people who know about pace-of-play, play here. The course was in excellent shape, plenty of sand in the bunkers and never had to wait on play or have people riding our heals. The course offered enough difficulty to challenge you without making you want to throw your clubs in the lake and go home. I'll definitely play here again.
Good but slow
It's a great course but the pace of play was slow.
great course
I enjoyed the course. Conditions were nice. Would play it again as soon as possible.
Slow with commercials
The pace was very slow and the cart gps played the same annoying political ad over and over
Fun!
Great twilight round! Great time of year to squeeze in a late tee-time. Great greens, they rolled pure-
Relaxing and Challenging Venue
The Hills Course provides a great balance of intermediate challenges as well as peaceful tranquility making for an enjoyable golfing experience. This is a "must do" when in the Lincoln area.
The rough was tuff
Hard to find your ball in the rough, beautiful water features and well maintained course
Somewhat Disappointing
I had never played this course, but did follow the LPGA tournament when it was played here. Somehow, I remembered it as a better course. It was in average condition and is not a very interesting design. It is not at all attractive as there are houses along the ridge line above every single hole. There are a few challenging holes and I would rate the par 3s as generally the best holes. The most noticeable aspect of the course is that there are very few level lies. The course is not at all walkable.
This course has no marshal
Most of the time I can give The Hills a good review. This time not so much. We started at the first hole behind a group of four, and each player hit 2 balls apiece from the blue tees. While in the fairway, all four got out of their carts and stood behind the other while he hit his 2nd, 3rd and 4th shots, and so on. The best player in the foursome reached the first green in 4. Okay, first hole out of the way. We finished out with 3 pars and a double. Drove to the 2nd tee and there they were BS ing on the tee box. That is how the rest of the game went. When we hit 14, our cart just stopped. We finished the round on foot as we skipped the next 2 holes. Our tee time was 2:44 on time, and we played until 7:45 after skipping 14 and 15. I guess the more you play the more chance you have of having a bad experience. Calling the marshal only slowed the group down. All in all the round was painful to play.
Great Value
Great Value. 18 holes on a great course for only $21. How can that be.
Very nice local course
Had a very nice time golfing with my wife. Course was very friendly, weather was very good considering it normally gets very hot. Had an enjoyable dinner at Meridians. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
great place
Had a great time. The course was in great condition especially for this time of year. This my fourth time playing it and the staff and the course is always great
Hills Course
Twilight rate great value for $. Course in good shape. No food or beverage cart services only negative, especially since it hit 100 degrees yesterday
However they do have a fabulous restaurant and bar with full menu and bar food options. You just don't go by it at the turn
Lincoln Hills-Hills Course
Played the Hills course for the first time after playing the Orchard a couple times. After speaking with a few people, all of them preferred the Hills Course. After playing both, I would have to say that the Orchard is the one I prefer. They are about the same in terms of difficulty, maybe the orchard is slightly more difficult. I just liked the Orchard a little better although the Hills has better views and scenery. The orchard has a good mix of different types of holes. The hills is Driver and approach shot every hole. Do love both of these courses which are very forgiving to the novice golfer. The whole facility is kept in fantastic shape. Can't wait to return!!
Thank you Mike!
The course is in great shape and challenging for the average golfer. We will play it again Thank you. We got to play with a member named mike who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the course. Greens were in great shape.
Open
The weather was100+ and sunny but tne conditions were very tolerable. The beverage cart only came around once in 18 holes. It is in a residential area but the houses never came in to play. I would play it again.
Great layout on th Hills Course
The course was in good condition and the pace of play was good. Only problem we had was it was 106 degree and all the water jugs was empty and none of the water fountains work pretty sad they need to care more about the players on a day like this.
SLOW SLOW SLOW
I played on a Friday on the Hills course and they had a tournament going on at the same time on each course (Hills, Orchard). My tee time was at 2:30 and got pushed back by 40 mins because of the slow tournament play! My twosome was grouped with another twosome who called the Proshop due to the long delay and they said for them to try the Orchard course, which they did. When they tried that they found five groups waiting to tee off on the Orchard side! So they rejoined us of course. Our round took 5.5 hours. It was 100 degrees that day and the beverage cart only came by one time very early in our round. Every water jug we came across on the course was empty! We never saw one marshal on the course despite a tournament going on!!! Miserable day, never coming back.
